I’m grateful people having civil conversations with people who have different opinions and beliefs. It’s about time we got back to being able to agree to disagree and hear each other out without acting mental. Hats off to Candace for talking with Piers after he acted like a real jerk. Like he’s the “real reporter” because he’s got a degree in journalism not knowing she’s got one too. I’m just not a fan of his, he’s rude and tries too hard to get “gotcha” moments from those he has on his show. He lets his emotions get the better of him, and definitely lets person feelings influence the things he says regardless of whether he has any facts. I’m not sure I believe anything he’s said in this video, this is the only time I’ve heard him speak like a normal person. My best friend growing up, her family immigrated to Canada from Bosnia. She told me it was a civil war. Her family had darker skin, brown eyes, black hair. Her teenage brothers were allowed to drive around and play loud music but she and her sister had stricter rules. I was the only friend from school that was allowed inside their house and allowed to eat meals. They also kept pigeons. She married a Canadian and we still keep in touch.

I truly feel like Candace’s first interview with Piers grew her up a bit. He questioned her about something’s and for the first time Candace seemed dazed because she was a bit emotional in that interview. Although Piers views are different he was able to contain himself throughout. She has since grown to deliver her beliefs more definitively without unnecessary emotional distraction but enough to keep her passionate and deliberate. I don’t have an opinion about Piers but I’m super proud of Candace here. That’s all.
