Álvaro LH do you freehand or draw from reference. To be honest you’ll never make quick progress without learning the nature of things. Try looking at a manga or character of any point and just draw it from reference.

The technique you use it really important. Learning how to draw on your own is really nice but art schools are here so that you wont waste your time with the same sketchs and head drawings all the time. If you cant draw the upper body, then practice on how to draw the upper body. Dont run away from drawing “hard things”. Theyre hard because you didnt practice enough.

You have to learn the basics of the human body. There’s plenty of tutorials here on KZbin. Look up tutorials on deviantArt. For poses and anatomy practice, use reference. A good place to go is posemaniacs.com. That what I used in college. Reference is your friend. You can’t improve if you’re not taught the right way to begin with. For me it took about 3 years to improve and I’ve seen others improve in that amount of time. Sketch everyday.

Lol its not. I did it. I thought it was impossible but i told myself i have to do it and i have to believe its possible cause if its not i wont make this deadline. We have to make the impossible possible. Plus there are 48 hours in 2 days so if i didn't sleep i could have 3 and a half hours per page. If i did sleep 4 hours (which i did lol) i would have less time per page but my mind would be able to function better and faster with a little sleep. 😅

I would definitely try drawing manga but I started drawing four years ago which is not that long if you think about it, compared to others anyways. I have trouble drawing the bodies especially the hands and arms!

My biggest struggle are arms and legs that point into the front, like sitting on a chair.
