Crap. That's amazing quality for the price. I've done countless collared, button front shirts for Barbie and Ken, as well as fully lined jackets and coats, and if I never had to do another one, I'd be so happy. Doing that kind of stuff for Barbie is even more brutal than for Ken, because of her smaller size. But it is nice to have that option in my back pocket, because I've always wanted to do a gorgeous floral suit for Ken. I feel so damn sorry for him, considering his present-day appalling clothing choices.

Omg I’m so glad someone said it. Making ur own clothes is expensive. Buying fabric alone is usually pricier than a fast-fashion version of the product. & making ur own textiles [weave, knit, crochet] is even more expensive. If u calculate time spent with minimum wage … it’s … also a lot sometimes.

That jacket is amazing! He looks great! Something that might come in handy for you would be a pair of plastic tweezers for doing belt and tiny shoe buckles. Metal ones could damage the fabric, but plastic or rubber tipped ones might work better for all those teeny fasteners. The other thing that might make unboxing less of a headache would be a nice pair of flush cutters, which you can get in the bead department of a store like Michael’s. They are so much easier than scissors for cutting those plastic and metal wires and zip ties. Your energy and videos are giving me life! Have a wonderful day!

That's a nice suit, wow! I sew a little bit, but my skills are rudimentary. I can do tight curves, but it's a firm "no" when it comes to inset sleeves and collars. And also, yes, fabric is very costly, so making your own clothes isn't cheaper.

Yeah, sleeves and collars take a lot of practice. Especially at this scale, they are insanely tedious. 🫠

Great video and I LOVE that suit! I've bought lots of Ken clothes from eBay and Etsy (just bought a "leather" jacket last week that I'm saving for Buff Ken when he FINALLY arrives, lol). Given how much we collectors spend on these clothes I don't understand why Mattel won't sell us high-quality Looks Fashion Packs! They made them for the Basics line years ago...

I totally agree. I wish Mattel would just give their designers more budget to do those kinds of projects. Especially since they know people buy looks dolls just for customization.

@@dollthighs Yes! And it's not as if Looks dolls haven't been successful -- Wave 3 has been sold out for the past month! Looks Fashion Packs would sell out instantly. Just postpone yet another wave of Cutie Reveals, Mattel! 😏

i bought two of those suit sets for my G.I. Joes when i started collecting. The quality is definitely incredible, and i actually had fun looping the belt into the pants. Lol i don't think i would buy them again though. It was a fun experiment for the time. And i got some cool photos out of it.

The suit is fabulous 😍😍😍 I like it with the tie and jacket. The cost to me is good for the quality of what you received. I like Barbie _ ken form the 60s and 70s the most... Those are my absolute favorite... And OMG I have spent more on a doll dress in not that great of condition 😂😂😂.... But it's hard to keep up dressing my hoarding obsession of over 1000 Barbies 😂😂😂... Ali#@% has good selection of action figure clothes and quality is good related to it's price. When I upgraded my Thiago's body to Adonis 2.0 body, it became an issue ngl, his proportions are in need of custom clothes or I'm resorting to DIY. Though it's a shame to hide the amazing body, LOL. I recently received my Graceful Reign Vanessa and 2 Adonis by her side is glorious. It's always fun to watch you and your laugh is contagious
