@@RedRockingBird I’ve been thinking of gingerbread people. I have some of the terra cotta clay( if I can figure out where it is) and use either nutmeg or cinnamon on the top. I’m running out of time lol. Frantic push time. 😂🤪🤣😜😝

As a ceramic artist for 30 years, I am enjoying learning about air dry clay. I love to do children's classes and I think this method would be so wonderful for them. Thank you for sharing 💖💖💖💖

Seeing the kids creations really made me smile! I tried doing a cat one time and she turned out soo hilariously out of wack! 😂 she's my little mascot that all projects aren't going to be perfect but they are still endearing. ❤

I have to admire your creativity Sarah. Your creations are always really varied and really interesting! I enjoyed watching you make your squirrel, that really adorable octopus, and that colourful insect, and I really loved seeing what the children made also. I think your air dry clay videos are some of my real favourites from your channel. Have a great weekend!

Awww, thank you for sharing your skills with the children. It’s a wonderful way to help children to explore their artistic side but then too, it’s a proven fact, it helps in their total learning process. It kills me that schools are having to drop so much of their arts programs. I wrote a paper ( like a 100 years ago 😂😂😂😂) on just book learning versus book learning with a form of the arts program added together makes for a better education. Sorry I get carried away 😂. 😊❤

@@RedRockingBird that paper was long gone awhile back. Lol, I’m not amazing but know that those things are needed in children. I m old enough to be your mom. Growing up poor doesn’t mean you have to stay in that mind set. Reading, exploring the arts, cooking everything is on the net. Here you can access the internet at libraries. I learn to create with what I had on hand. Oops there I go again.😂

I just wanted to tell you I love your videos and your soft voice. I have been watching other clay creators and they are not nearly as talented as you are. Thank you for being so inspirational. I’m always wondering how artists clean their tools, brushes and such. If you’ve already addressed this, could you lead me to the video, and if not, might you consider talking about it in the future? Thank you.

Hiii❣️ Cute animals👍🏼 I don't understand, why the tinfoil ist needed to cover the pebble instead of using the clay directly on the pebble..🤔 Greetings from Germany 💖
@RedRockingBird14 күн бұрын
Hi thanks, many reasons, to give extra shape, to give extra grip, to give an element of movement while the piece dries, to help prevent cracking

@@RedRockingBird ah, okay, thank you so much❣️
@RedRockingBird14 күн бұрын
@@juwawes5749 you’re welcome, air dry clay doesn’t want to be wrapped around a solid object very much as it shrinks a little, if using pebbles make sure the pebble is fully dry throughout otherwise the clay will take even longer to dry
