Redshift + C4D + Cine Designer 101

Redshift will make your life 10x better as a Cine Designer user. It requires a modern Nvidia GPU and laptops like the Microsoft Surfacebook 2 (1060), Razerblade, or MSI/Dell will work great.
For the Mac/Apple users, you can use High Sierra and get an external GPU enclosure with compatible GPUs. This will work but there is a considerable loss in performance compared to Windows.
I'll be calibrating the Cine Designer Redshift cameras and lights to match the real world photometrics and exposures in the next big update.

Just something for material creation. You can use the C4D ctrl + drag functionality to duplicate texture and other nodes quite quickly. So no need to always create new nodes from the side menu when you already got a node of the type you want in your scene.

oh, and displacement node gets connected to the displacement input on the surface node. But in order for it to work on a model you will have to put a rs object tag on the model and enable displacement on the node under the geometry section. Its a bit more complex to use but works very well once you figured it out.
