I have one that lets you plug in an hdmi cable as well as a couple usb ports so you can also plug in a keyboard and mouse. I have now been using my note 9 for one month now and I must say that it is a fantastic phone. I bought the 512 GB version with 8 GB ram. I have tried the Samsung DEX and use it paired with a bluetooth mouse and a bluetooth keyboard. The phone is connected to my TV or my computer screen throug a HDMI cable. This works really good. Probably this solution will be the end of heavy laptops. Previously I used to have a Sony Xperia Xz but had problems with low capacity battery and very poor options for connecting gadgets to the USB C connector.

So I'm getting that the biggest thing you can do is burn through your battery with no way to charge it except to stop doing what you're doing so you can unplug it and connect a charger. Does that thing work with a powered USB hub by chance? If so can you plug different things into it and switch back and forth between them? And can you keep the phone charged through the powered hub while using it?
@RedskullPro6 жыл бұрын

I use that all the time when I am on vacation somewhere and fly the drone...just in case I crash it and never see it again :)

I've just found out how useful it is , I've got a note 8 phone ,& the little gadget came with it , I've also got a panasonic camera , but when I downloaded the app for it , it didn't work , i tried 4 times & gave up, then I tried the little gadget with the camera lead to my phone & can now transfer photos instantly , straight from camera , it's brilliant . Great video , thanks for sharing .

Thanks for this!!! I’ve been meaning to get all the pictures off my phone to my external hard drive but having to do phone to laptop to EHD was a put off because too much hassle. I’ll have to try it soon
@RedskullPro6 жыл бұрын
makes it much easier! Thanks for watching! (PS. The external drive has to be formatted to work on a Windows machine, not a Mac)

Ya pretty cool actually. If one needs this stuff it’s certainly very valuable to have these options. I definitely like that you can connect a HArd drive to it. Nice

Great features indeed and the good is that even my S7 can do about same things with its connector. Samsung packs OTG and many features across it for years already. I would also like to know the theme in your S9+ its great
