Hi, it is best to check that the soil is well draining in order to avoid root rot. And once the winter sets in less watering. Thanks for following my channel and good luck.

Thank you for your video. I killed mine only to find tiny sprouts coming up. I really enjoyed learning how to care for this plant and hope my second chance is successful. 😊

🖐😀 Alice🌹 I've started sitting my plants outside from the sun porch so they can get some of "God's water"😆. They have really grown over the winter and doubled in size 😀 I'm going to have to do some dividing and propagating and I'm excited! I think I'll give some as gifts as well 🎍 Also I have a Peace Lily 🕊 that's doubled and I have to divide and repot it "can't wait! Happy gardening 💐🦋

Just found your channel, looking for information on this plant and found your lovely video! I only have two slips (baby plants) and do not know how to get them to root. Your background yard is so beautiful and interesting!

Thank you Sandra, with the babies of the Saxifraga Stolonfera, you can either root them while still attached to the mother plant or detach them from the mother plant and plant. They do root really fast. I normally separate them by detaching them from mother plant. Get a good potting mix and just place them in the soil, making sure the baby roots are in the soil. Keep them moist but not drenched, as they can rot. if you do get into problems DM me on my Redsoilgardener instagram.

Two ways to propagate the strawberry begonia is through water propagation. Take leaf cuttings and place the stem of the leaf in water. Place in a warm area, indirect sun and keep changing the water. You should start seeing rooting in 3-4 weeks. Once the roots are about 2 inches you can transfer into moist soil and place it in indirect sun. The second method is to get the plantlet attached to the mother plant and place them in a pot, still attached. Once they look strong you can cut the ties. if the plantlets are grown and still attached to the mother plant you can separate them and give them their new home.

Thanks for video n knowledge… following u on instagram too 👌… I found I have lots of babies tiny and good size clumps… how long b4 I need to get them into soil? My potting soil has no sand or gravel.. will b able to plant in 1-2 days with nice soil … or can I plant them into miracle grow potting soil ? 👏 I’m also moving one from in sun to shadier spot …

Hi Kath, its good that you have a good size clump. Try separating them and potting them. If you feel they are not mature, you could still pot them, leaving them still attached to the mother plant. As they will root.
