I love this video. We had a dog who went blind in his last few years of life. When he had had enough with people, he would go hang out in his crate in the quiet laundry/mudroom. He wasn't ever cranky, but peopling was exhausting at times.

I needed the idea of cardboard on top of the crate because I have two that will pull a blanket inside the crate. So, great idea. Thanks. And for the ideas on how to have dogs and guests over. What do you do when the guests don’t listen to the rules though? Do you then just put the dogs away? And how do we desensitize them to people to behave when people come over? I don’t get people all the time over, and my caregiver hasn’t come for awhile but she will be back but I tell her my girls on my girls not allowed to jump on people and she allows it. They adore each other so she has a hard time not giving in.

I did HSTD and loved it. Unfortunately all the content seems to disappear after a certain time so you need to screenshot or save everything. It sucks bc that's the most money I've spent in ages. We in poverty out here...

Susan, WE ARE COMMITTED! We just discovered you on KZbin and are soooo excited to follow your channel! HELP! We adopted a 14 week old Boxer puppy 3 days ago. This is my husband’s and my FIRST DOG EVER! We are nearing 60 years old. We love her but are exhausted at training. We ARE COMMITTED! We live in northern British Columbia where it is currently-26 degrees. Makena refuses to go potty outside. I believe understandable due to weather. We are trying potty pads in an “xpen”. Pls provide guidance on this issue due to weather. Pleeaase! This is Greg’s wife, Corina

And pls remember your Autistic friends who are also receiving an unbearable sensory bombardment (all the time, but no-one cares, so let's focus on xmas).

Great videos! I have a super aggressive French bulldog . Although we have had a good amount of training . He’ll still go after anyone he’s not familiar with . What are some training ideas, I don’t want him to hurt someone , and his aggression with strangers and in certain situations is concerning. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated.
