Just finished installing one of your kits. Wow does it feel GOOD! The trigger on my k2p before was just fine in my opinion but during a very deep clean I lost a spring and figured what the heck? Bonus points for the video, I could not remember which leg went where on the trigger.

Just purchased a k2 after looking around at other options, i was interested in a 220 and a cz but the prices were a bit high for what i was looking for. Found the k2, looked into it more, picked it up for 500, looking forward to it

Verdict: Light primer strikes. Details: I am a huge fan of Sar's guns and I was very happy to see someone making aftermarket spring kit for them. I ordered a few immediately after I found out about them. The shipping was fast, and I could not wait for the weekend to come. Yesterday I installed the kit. It is easier than it looks, plus the good video helped. My K2/45 is imported by EAA, and is broken in. Somewhere around 1200-1500 rounds trough it. When I was working on the gun, I can see that some of the internals have polished with use, confirming that. The trigger pull reduction was not as significant as in the video but was a good improvement none the less. At the range, I shot one box of Herter's select (black boxes from Cabela's). Out of 50 rounds, there were 3 light primer strikes. That is all in a single action. All of the ignited on the second strike. I have never had a light primer strikes before with this gun. Zero to six percent is not great. Conclusion: Today I installed back the Sar's original hammer spring.

Did your trigger pull on DA/SA lightened up after it broke in? Let me know if you have any other suggestions to get the max out of this gun while still remaining reliable. I purchased the wrong gun getting the K2 45C as opposed to the standard model.

I just picked up a K2 45C two days ago and I am very impressed with the gun. Everything seems to work like my Tanfoglio. I am not really interested on the spring kit but I really would like a fiber optic front sight for this gun. Also you mention in the video about making a holster and plus 2 base plates. Are those ready to sell or you still working on them?

Howcome some come with the blued barrel and some with polished stainless barrel finish?

I think it depends on when it was released. My k2p came with a stainless steel barrel but in the last year or two EAA started selling threaded and ported barrels to pick up for killer prices so I now have a blued threaded barrel

Installing the trigger spring did not work and bent it. Will not go in using a needle nose pliers.

You need to have a floating trigger pin made for the k2 45 and k12 sport

I just installed this kit less than an hour ago. The Hammer spring on a B6C is much different than the one shown here so unless you know how to do it don't bother to take the rear pin out of the frame. After removing the sear boat I was left with a different piece than shown here, I was afraid to drive the pin out without guidance so I passed on that spring. I would like to install it in the future if I was shown how. The kit makes a bit of difference though. I have used many Galloway products and I think they are well researched and fairly priced. The trigger spring is pretty nerve wracking but can be done. Is there a video of how to do the hammer spring anywhere?

Would this kit fit the K2 45C? I believe all is the same other than shorter slide and short recoil pin/spring. Do you recommend polishing the hammer? Is there a spring for the +2 mag extension?

Yes the spring kit will fit as all hammer fired SARUSA pistols share springs. I wouldn't polish the hammer or sear engagement areas. The +2 reuses the stock mag spring.

Yes, all the hammer fired pistols share the same springs in the SARUSA line up.

you should measure the trigger pull weight before install the spring kit man,then you can do before/after..

Average DA pull weight out of the box is 10 to 11lbs, and the SA is around 6ish.

It is fantastic to see some love for the SAR guns. K2/45, in particular, is a great gun. I have two questions and one suggestion. 1. Why change the firing pin safety block spring, if that is not fighting the trigger? As you pointed out, unlike CZ, you do not have an arm, which needs to push against it. 2. I have changed the sears springs on CZ and Canik. How much harder is this sear cage (boat)? 3. To prevent the punch from slipping when driving a pin, you can use a starter punch. It is hollow and stays securely on the pin.
