The SAR K2 45 is a clone of a CZ97 but actually better: 1. 14rd mag vs 10rd CZ mag 2. Slide is 3oz lighter vs CZ 3. Slide is .15" lower vz CZ 4. SAR K2 45 available in stainless steel 5. 33% off the price of CZ97 6. Better machining and fitment 7. Trigger is perfect 👌

Been looking for a good .45ACP since January .... Always been a 1911 fan, there's just something about all steel, hammer fired, firearms ... The Rona has made budget friendly 1911 extinct so ... I pulled the trigger on a SAR USA K2 45C ... Hoping it's everything everyone says it is

I mirror this sentiment 1000%. My soul needed a metal, hammer-fired pistol. With 1911s being my idea of a perfect handgun (save magazine capacity) and them being all sold out or obscenely priced, I went with this in stainless. Picking it up tmrw and I can't wait.

How does the compact shoot compared to the full size? Is it as accurate and smooth or is the full size the one to go for on those highlights?

I've been looking at this pistol for a long time but it does not have an ambi safety for a southpaw to carry it in C1 and there is no way to add one.

How long is the barrel on the compact and is the grip any shorter and what is the weight? Any info is appreciated thanks.
@tommyg29664 жыл бұрын
Mine has a 4.2" barrel vs the 4.7" barrel of the K2 45 ... For some reason the stainless steel version has a 3.7" barrel .... Mine came with 13 round magazines that are identical in size to the 14 round magazine. It accepts both so other than being 1/2" shorter it's not really a compact ... I like it ... 500 rounds and no issues ... Wish I could fire it more but ammunition isn't as plentiful as it once was
@johnelrod984 жыл бұрын
@@tommyg2966 wonder if the 3.7 barrel is worth getting? I've ordered the black full size trying to find decent grips for it. I go to pick it up in a couple weeks.
@tommyg29664 жыл бұрын
@@johnelrod98 I got the 45C black and it's only 1/2" shorter than the full sized ... The 45C in stainless is a full inch shorter for some reason ... I like the grips that came with mine, they have a good texture and don't really add much to the grip width which is good. I can operate all controls without shifting my hand ... If it was any wider I couldn't do that .... I'm pleased with my 6" grouping at 100 yards ... It's a pistol, but knowing I can center of mass at distance is comforting ... Not a 1911 but still a great addition to the collection

Even crazier. I found 16rd mags for it. I mean 16rds of .45 is overkill in my opinion. But I like it lol. Not a lot of high capacity.45s out there. Hell the standard 14rd is not very common. Add the 16rd mag and you are pushing high capacity 9mm handguns

Now I Havnt bought this mag yet but even the price blows me away.

Sorry. Not a 16 rd mag. Just extension. So price makes sense. Have look a little more but this could possibly be 3D printed

k245c is all business, no frills: made to NATO "milspec" iso 9000 standards, it's approved for nato use, right out of the box. all forged steel, so 45 super is good to go & it holds 14 rounds. the trigger is an order of magnitude better than the cz omega trigger; 1911 good in single action.
