There are no stomach muscles I can work so i have to shoot strong right arm. I had issues with pulling any trigger above 4lbs with my right gun hand but with left hand can pull any trigger up to 12lbs. I was always a bit ambidextrous, so i put a lot of practice and effort into shooting strong left. At a shooting competition, i could switch hands rather than reposition my wheelchair. An instructor showed another advantage, I could cover the forward 180 degrees with both hands without repositioning.

Just got one and had my first range trip. I used the time to dial in the sights, after 10 rounds I had it dialed in and with the remaining 90 rounds punched a fist size hole center mass. 100 % reliable, smooth shooter. No negatives.

It is a beautiful piece and I have it apart. I will polish all the internals. Before Covid19 I had more alone time. I'm a quadriplegic and have good hands but still need a trigger under 3lbs.

Todd, I first got the bigger full size blued K2 45 and it was putting holes in holes. Neither K2 kick like a 45acp it is slightly more than a 9mm, just a bit more push.

@@scotthayesproductions5715 Big as a Sig P229, I wish it had a 1/2 inch shorter barrel. The barrel is 1/2 shorter than the full size, usually there is 3/4 to 1 inch difference. The grips are the same size and same 14rd. I had a Sneaky Pete style holster custom made that is 1/2 inch bigger than the biggest Snaeky Pete but it is still 3/8 too small.

I just traded my G2C for the K2 45C in black. So far love how it feels on my hand and two 14 rounds magazines, that's better than Tanfoglio that only comes with one.

I'm on to your 16 round mags, thanks for the info!!! I just bought the Para Ordinance P12 and it came with 400 rounds of 45acp. Yes, he was holding and bought brazer brass 230gr for $16 and I'm buying Sig 230 ball for $27. So with today's prices it is a good deal for both.... DJ, Crazy times!

I am confused on the actual barrel length of this gun. You said is 3.8 inches, the owner manual says 4.2 inches. Every where I checked says either 3.8 or 4.2 what's the correct length?

SAR has a budget friendly price point. I haven't fired either a CZ or a SAR.

D.M. yes true but I suggest get a SAR sooner rather than later, I'm afraid the price will go up. Most any CZ style is enjoyable shooter.

thanks for the video. I have a full size SAR k2 .45. Fantastic gun, possibly the best full size .45 i have used. easily better than the cz97, fn fnx, sig 220 and 227. absolute bargain for the price. get one.

I fully agree. I love my full size. The K2 45 Compact is also nice but the should have made it a bit more compact, the barrel is only 1cm shorter and should have been at least 2cm shorter. It has the same 14 round magazine and should have been 12 rounds. Look at my Para Ordinance P12 45acp video. This P12 is a real compact, Glock 19 size.

@@WheeledandWellArmed i almost fully agree with everything you said. funny thing is, i carry aiwb, so barrel length doesn't bother me too much. i can always get a higher riding holster. i'll trade a few less rounds, maybe 10 for a smaller (narrower and shorter) grip. oh, and have a great thanksgiving.

@@welinder01 Thanks! I am having a box holster (Sneaky Pete style) made for my full size CZ85 Combat/CZ Shadow2 and the SAR K2 45 Compact will also fit. Since I clip my Sneaky Pete holster to my wheelchair, size and weight doesn't really matter. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

@@kingpin7673 My Shadow2 is my best pistol, I polished everything, shot 5000 rounds and polished everything again. I only then put in the SAO trigger and the pull is 1lbs 11 oz. I have the PPQ Q4 with magwell 140mm extensions and Apex trigger. It is nowhere near the base Shadow2. If that helps.

I'm surprised you could find a stainless one. I have a CZ Czechmate, TSO, TS, Shadow Target, Shadow 2. Just picked myself up two of these. I could not find the stainless though. Not 97B for me yet. Mine came with all this copper film on it, looks like shiny rust or copper gasket maker. Any idea what it is?

I'm sure you will like it. The stainless steel is nice. I just wish in was .5 inch shorter in length and height. I have the poorer CZ Shadow family: S2, CZ 85 Combat, Pre-B Transitional in Nickle and a CZ 75 Compact Shadow Line.

Nice video and nice looking gun. I never seen this pistol before and it’s the only video I’ve seen being more compact. This pistol Might be what I was searching for. Freddy, my hands are just over medium and it doesn't feel too large. If you never have shot a CZ, you are in for a treat. I would say it is closer in size to the Sig P229. The trigger out of the box is great. For a Stainless steel pistol, it is a bargain.

Can the compact version be 4.7in with 14+ round capability? I heard that compact version of any kind cannot hold 14+. I was told it can hold less..

The SAR website is all wrong. The magazines are identical. I bought a new 14rd mag and it also works in both. Maybe there was something older with a 13rd mag. But my 4+ year old EAA import full size and new SAR USA import compact are 100% exchangeable 14rd mags. I'm trying to remember what else was wrong on the SAR USA webpage. The barrel is only 3/8inch shorter/longer. Also the weight is about the same, or 2-3 oz different.

How are the Grips and do you know of any that will fit

Grips are good. The only replacements I have found are exactly the same but a different color. I reviewed the black full size and it has ODG grips. A buddy said he got some CZ97 wood grips and drimmeled them to fit. He thought aluminum would be too much work. Thanks for viewing. I would 110% recommend either the full size or compact in black or stainless steel.

I backpacked 2 weeks around Turkey in 1998 before the bombing. I went south and west from Istanbul to Selcuk, Pamukkale, Fethiye, Antalya and ballooning over Cappadocia. Great people and food. 🇹🇷 funny today is Thanksgiving and I'm talking about Turkey.

Between the full size and compact which do you like best and why? Which do you recommend as far as smooth and light recoil and accuracy? Any help is appreciated .

I bought the full size first, so accurate and soft shooting. I bought the compact and thought I would carry it. It is big for my Sneaky Pete holster and the SS finish is beautiful. There is about a 1/2 inch shorter barrel and grip is the same. If i were to start over, I would buy a Stainless Steel full size. If you don't want it, I'll buy it. Kidding, I really do not need three.

@@johnelrod98 Yes, usually there is an inch shorter barrel and the mag holds 2 or 3 less. On Gunbroker the full size are 50 less. Get either one and you will be happy.

I am very intrigued before the Baltimore burglary i had a P14-45 and i loved it. i got out of guns. now i am getting back in ind i like what i see. the only thing is in Maryland you have to buy the gun without any mag over 10rnds which means buying a gun i cant immediately shoot. then you must exit the state purchase your 14rnd mags and bring them with you into the state. or i could buy the mags online having them sent somewhere in Virginia and then go pick them up. but i dont have a car and the people i know in Virgina live near North Carolina. yeah the got me for my p14 and my GP100 the only 2 guns i chose to keep after moving to this Fddd up ass City

I shot a P10 45 and it was a bit small. I looked at the P14 but the used K2 45 was 200 less than a used P14 and great reviews. Buy this local and you will get two 10rd mags, 20 rounds of 230gr ball ammo is a is 4600gr and 7000gr is a pound of lead! 45acp, one ball and they all fall.

SAR's are great firearms. I own a SAR CM9 Gen2 and it's a great weapon. I can use any of the CZ mags. Right now I have the original 17 rd and 2x 21 rd MecGar CZ75 mags that work perfect. Deadly accurate too!!!

This came with one 14+1 and one 13+1. The older full size is 3/8 inch longer slide and came with two 14+1 mags. All mags are interchangeable and fit flush.
