Can you make porcelain with this kiln?

Thank you for your comment. Of course, porcelain is also fired in this kiln. However, I think that the strength, color, and tightness of the baked product are incomplete. I think that gas kiln is good for porcelain.

Does the reducing atmosphere damage the heating elements? Is this kiln made for reduction firing - or is it a normal electric kiln?

Thank you for your comment. The kiln is structurally made so that it can be reduced and fired. Heat ray heaters are more damaging than oxidative firing, but not terrible. After the reduction firing once, the oxidation firing is performed twice so that the heat rays will not be damaged.

いつもコメントありがとうございます。 そうですね～1000℃程度が一番変化がでる温度帯なんだと思います。 還元は出来上がりは楽しいですが、焼成中はちょっと大変ですね～笑）

いつも、参考になり有り難うございます 1230℃を1時間キープするそうですがキープ時間による出来の違いますを教えて頂けますか？

コメントありがとうございます。 1230℃で１時間キープしていない時が無いのでなんとも言えませんが、最高温度で窯内の温度を一定に保つためにキープしています。 これをしないと、たぶん窯の中の温度が一定にならずに、焼成不足になる作品が出てくる事が予想されます。 焼成不足になると、粘土から出てくるガスの穴（ピンホール）が塞がらずに残ってしまう事もあります。
