Absolutely amazing. Feeding my corals is one of my favorite things to do. I may have to try feeding corals in the wild soon. Thanks Jake.

Jake, Great job in show casing the many different corals. Equally as great in the way you handled the camera and fed the corals at the same time. 👍

Man it was so much mental acuity and manual dexterity required, but the shots came out killer, thanks

Thank for the video, it seems all the Euphyllia colonies were rather small, did you see larger one? That lobophyllia colony was really stunning.

torch corals are often just a few heads at a time but there is a jumbo colony of octopus/yaeyaemensis in the video

This video makes me rethink my lighting settings and I can’t get over that leather coral in the beginning of the video. I have chased so many leathers to look like the one in the video and I’ve had no success on polyp extension

Please tell me what the reggae song is at the beginning of the video! It's driving me crazy. I can't find it anywhere. Even Shazam can't find it

Those feather dusters weren’t having ANY part of it 😂😂 god this is such an amazing video jake!! I’ve always wanted to do this in real life, and I’m sure all of those corals really appreciate it! They have probably never had this amount of nutrient dense food.. EVER.

Another great dive and footage, thanks for sharing. Kinda ridiculous question, do you ever see wild aptasia on the reefs you dive? Just more of a curious question than anything. I was looking and dont think I seen any.
@ReefBuildersVideo5 жыл бұрын
No, not really - I see cyano and algae but I can't even remember seeing an Aiptasia, but they probably hide in the crevices of the reef

Awesome, video. Could i ask in a home aquarium how much would you feed a torch coral and octospawn for target feeding or should i just broadcast
@ReefBuildersVideo5 жыл бұрын
if you can see it getting any food, that's enough, corals have very low metabolism compared to moving creatures we are used to

make me think whether i put too much flow in my tank. those lps extended their polyps and meat quite gracefully and doesnt seem to have much flow around them. the goni, plate coral, euphyllias, cynarina etc..

@MereReef5 жыл бұрын
When you go diving would you say the corals are getting more of a blue spectrum like in our tanks or more of a white light
@ReefBuildersVideo5 жыл бұрын
completely dependent on depth, you can watch the early part of the dive as I go deeper it gets darker and bluer, although I white balance the camera to correct the blueness
@lisafoster44682 жыл бұрын
Satisfying - but can the LPS actually eat that, or do they need bigger foods?

@zerberus25255 жыл бұрын
As always Jake awesome shots! That place looks so peacefull (underwater) it must be a lot of enjoyment to be there and doing what you love. I have a question about using some products, im used to feed my corals everyday with reef roids, now im using from red sea the a&b reef energy can i feed both products at same time or should i change between them? One day this one day that? My nutrients are no3 1mg/po4 0,07. Mixed Reef. Thanks for taking the time for my question.
@ReefBuildersVideo5 жыл бұрын
nothing wrong with mixing it up, we all enjoy a variety of foods.
