Code 63 on a TK unit is because the engine stopped for some unknown reason. This usually means some kind of fuel problem. First thing to check is to make sure there is fuel in the tank. Next, you could open the front doors and use the primer pump to help it. Unscrew it and pump it until it firms up. This could take 200 hundred to 300 pumps if it was out of fuel. One last tip is to never fill the tank on any reefer unit with the engine running. The high volume pumps at the truck stops will fill the tank with air bubbles and the unit could pull them into the fuel filter causing the engine to stop. Fill the tank and give it 5 to 10 minutes before you start it. This tip will save you from a problem and having to call an 800 number.

I had this issue yesterday mine was running then just shutdown with code 63 I started it and it ran then it shut down after 30 minutes with the same code. I ended up pouring a gallon of power services fuel treatment that come in the grey bottle into the tank and started it back up and no more code 63.
