Bloody well done again! Not a bad box of fish for a poor trip! How good did that meal look that Snez prepared! Bet it went down well! Hats of to the young bloke for the cruise craft restoration, out there & into without costing an arm and a leg!

Lovely ep and area and fish and tucker guys nice work, It take a lot of time on the water to crack the code on new areas, Love the old Cruise craft. My first bot at 15 years old I bought a 16' 6" Cruise craft Regal, I Pro line fished with my dad and older brother, We camped on the beach up Fraser Is beach launched near Waddy Pt in the 80s with it, and did the same off DI beach, we camped in DI bay launched off the beach there fished out to 30miles

I still have my 16ft cruisecraft rebel v16. I bought it in about 1975 second hand with a 135 evinrude. It got dryrot in it a few years later. Gutted it out, masonite floor can you believe!. Anyway sold the motor, and I still have the shell in the cow paddock. With kids and building house I was off the water for 30 odd years. I swore I'd never wash my boat with fresh water again. Hence I bought a yank boat, 10 years ago no timber structurally.

Cool story mate thanks for sharing. That is one of the reasons I went with a Noosa Cat. The 1993 Kevlar Cat I had previously had the floor rot as well. Expensive operation to fix. The Noosa Cat is all glass. 👌

@@OBM1770 oh, i didn't know that about the Noosa cat. What year though? I did drive down to brisvegus when i was looking. It was 2004 i think, 2400. It looked a bit neglected, so it put me off because of the wood thing.

One of our community recommended it to me. Suits me as I’m usually too time poor to sharpen on a stone. Literally takes 5 minutes. It’s called a ‘Ken Onion’ Knife sharpener. We bought ours from Amazon but other viewers have said you can now get them from Trade Tools here in Oz. Not cheap but seam to be quality. Spare belts are widely available on Amazon or eBay. I may have a link in the description.
