@@OBM1770 Launched at Dingo Beach but the weather wasn't on our side for a wide trip. Some good fishing around the islands and just like Clairview, you are dependent on the tides.

Hey Ed, great episode again. I will say though every rod I've seen you break has been on a shark. Given the quality of the rods I don't think the Berserker is worth getting back. If you want to though, point the rod straight at it and vertical pump using the reels drag only if you really want to get it to the boat. The vertical pump without winding is also a good way to get a trout that's bricked you back out of it's hole.

Mate ever thought of investing in a Fuel and Fishing Tackle business 😂😂😂😂 .A long way to tow we used to do from Adelaide to Narooma each year 20hrs towing a boat one way 😛 some really nice fish you need a bigger esky 😂enjoy waiting for next one. Yeah I know. These rods are bloody tough, pretty sure, watching that footage back I grabbed it above the hand piece. I’m usually only pull them up to get some footage or to grab the jigs back. Unfortunate.

You want big horse glamour Reds mate ? Fish rubble bottom that show slight lumps and drift over the country with baits down when your out there . When you pick one up, mark the spot continue drifting until you get nothing , then move back up to the same spot you began ya drift at. 50 meters in the colder months and out to 70 meters in the hotter months.

@@OBM1770 The last few years I've gone up as soon as the road is sort of open as the fishing at penny is awesome, Next year I am going up in late June as Doing the Western Cape run from cullen point north with Two Mates I met in the Kimberley this year, Do that trip over a couple weeks then I go and camp at penny for another few weeks, I mite see you up there, If you want a good laugh check out our Utube channel there a few of my northern trips on there. @@drakeadra6493 we actually had a few complaints when we included in our edits. Snez cuts under the gill rake but I prefer to use the black magic cutters straight through the gills after brain spike. 👌

Break up that ice and get a salt water ice slurry going when you have brain spiked and bled your fish. They will store better and eat better. Awesome trip mate and what a setup with the two chevs boat and caravan. Give yourself a pinch mate you're living every blokes dream.

@@kiwideal69 yeah definitely user error, just trying to get that monster up for a shot if it. The rods are great gear! Loved our Kevlacat but the Noosa is next level. It’s a tank, any sea, any wave direction you feel safe. The bow doesn’t drop into waves like the KC’s do. Very happy with it! 👌
