Reel Review - Fuji Mura - Coral Springs

Located in Coral Sorings off of University Drive, this fairly new sushi buffet is quite a pleasant surprise. Saw a few videos on social media and came on here to check out the reviews. We've gone on a weekend and weekday night around 6-6:30 and was seated right away both times but it definitely got busy as the night went on. At $27.99 for an adult dinner, I feel this is a good value for the quantity and quality of the seafood. Service was attentive and generally available and around when needed.
I diverged from my usual buffet route and went straight for the king crab legs which had just been put out and the large peeled shrimp to start. A couple other trips up definitely proved you had to be there when the king crab legs were just put out because otherwise you were left with much smaller legs that were getting a bit water logged. The chilled shrimp was a nice large size and snappy in the best way while the cocktail sauce had a nice spice to it. There was a good amount of roll options but not too much where it's overwhelming. The rolls do go quickly, but they seem to always be replenishing. The sashimi quality was surprisingly good in particular the salmon, I easily could have eaten the whole tray! Honestly I didn't eat too much of the Chinese food as I filled up on a lot of the other items but would say it was average from what I did try. Dessert options were the usual on a buffet with the addition of whole lychees and a cheesecake of sorts. The lychees were a win in my book as was the small cupcake (which was way better than anticipated). Strawberry, pistachio, and spumoni ice cream flavors were my favorites as my green tea usual wasn't green tea enough for me at least.
