Great video! CMOR really is a game changer up here. You thinking about upgrading it when they release the NE update at the end of the year/early next year?

They are great but they show you spots that everybody knows about. My honey holes I'm just trolling around and looking at the GPS it's a 4 KW furuno. Honestly just trolling around keep your head looking at your fish finder and find those hills and lock them.

Yeah there are still a lot of areas un mapped. That is the good thing about high speed trolling for wahoo though: we find a lot of spots!

@@ReelHazardous those are the special spots. Always look at your death finder in your plotter. Incredible where you find out there

It shows you the entire floor (southeast Florida here). You can browse the map for hours and never run out of "new spots"

@@JoseDiaz-yl9sh yeah good luck trying to basically map the bottom with your "death" finder. We'll just use CMOR which already did with SONAR and go straight to where the structure/drop off/reef is. Good luck with your "death" finder. I guess you call it that since you'll probably die before you find any fish with it.

I live on the Treasure Coast in Florida, and CMOR here is a bit dissapointing. Everything mapped it's public numbers up here. There are plenty of hills, nook and cranies which are not mapped. Everyone knows where the public reefs and wrecks are.

Lol that is definitely not how cmor maps gets 95%+ of their data. It is all free online provided by the US Navy and NOAA via simrad units. CMOR literally sells free data. Their "proprietary" technology is copy and paste it to a card to overlay to Simrad and Lowrance units

Too Bad that Garmin doesn't allow CMOR! Not worth changing chart plotters to get CMOR!

Simrad go7 or go9 or a raymarine map pak from CMOR . Portable and cheap (relatively speaking).
