I absolutely love the way they finish the show, the drummer is bashing everything down, the bassist is almost pulling the strings out, the guitarist is in his world. Then they fucking leave! Not a “thank you, you are awesome, etc”, they just fucking leave, and the crowd go nuts while they are almost off the stage. 😅 this is just great!!!

Took me a very long time to realize this bands greatness. I never really gave Rock music a fair chance. I didn't realize RATM was more than just a typical rock band. After some life changing events for me this year i fell into depression and anger. Got me delving deep into RATM music. And now I'm a big time fan for life. I guess it's better late than never. About to go into my 40s a hardcore rager 😅

I’m glad some more of my usos are enjoying rock music. I used to get looked at weird af cuz I don’t listen to island jams but rather rock, funk and hip hop 😂
@uso_Jus2SmooTh9411 ай бұрын
@@das0ul177 music has always been in a way a tool for me to help dissipate bottled up emotions. And as I've grown and matured my taste in music has expanded a lot. I went from hip hop n R&B, soul, reggae to country, alternative and some heavy metal. Even got into some foreign music (not kpop tho 🤷🏻♂️ not feeling it yet 😅) But RATM is my shit now. It's getting me through a tough break up. And now I just don't tolerate bullshit anymore 😤 from anyone. No more Mr nice guy, I'm pushing back 👊🏼 But yeah I know what you mean. Most uso's that I know don't really think out the box. They stay traditional and typical poly style which is cool. I get it. I've been there. But I always preach to try and expand your horizon a little more. Try something different. You never know you'll learn something new in perspective and more. And I mean that also in life in general🤙🏼

@@uso_Jus2SmooTh94 oh man tell me about it I’m mostly samoan but a quarter European ancestry from my father who’s a half cast so I grew up on pretty much everything from 70s disco and soul 80s rock and pop 90s grunge and funk rock and hip hop island reggae you name it. RATM for me just hits different, not sure if you are already aware but there’s a band called shepherds reign from where I’m from south akl and they are three Samoans a maori and a Chinese dude that make metal music. Keep pushing bro break ups suck recently went through a break up with my sons mother and it broke me for a bit but it gets better bro enjoy the solitude and figure out what it is you wanna do and keep on going my g 🙏

Can we just say that this is the angriest performance that Zack de la Rocha has ever performed in his career as his energy was eerily similar to Jonathan Davis from KoRn during their debut album period due to the fact that both of them sported dreadlocks and both albums I consider to be the angriest debut albums I’ve ever listened to alongside Limp Bizkit’s “Three Dollar Bill Y’all.”

@MikelBrownSchilling8 ай бұрын
@Saimonkisde, the reason why Zack's hair moved like that was because, from '91 to '94. Zack had undercut dreads. Then, in '94 I guess Zack wanted a new look and started over. So in '95 everyone saw him with an afro. So, from '96 to '03 Zack had a full head of dreads. Now, he keeps it low key with just mostly a short afro lookin thing. Hope my explanation helped ya out. Have a great day man!

Rage Against The Machine musste einfach existieren.

Their debut album is still the angriest mainstream album from the nineties I’ve ever listened to with Korn’s debut album coming in at a close second since both Zack and Jonathan Davis sported dreads and had an extremely aggressive on stage presence during those two album periods and both albums were responsible for shaking up the alternative metal scene and giving birth to Nu Metal in 1992 and 1994 respectively, not to mention both albums having extremely distressing cover art. The early to mid nineties was an unhinged period for metal.
