I saw this at a sneak preview the night before it officially opened. The whole theater was packed with fans of the first one, and we were having a good time watching. It gets to the climax, the fuel is spilling out of the plane, McLane pulls out the lighter and says "Yippee-ki-yay" and the ENTIRE THEATER yelled "MOTHER@#$%ER". I'm sure everyone in the lobby and maybe even in the nearby other theaters heard us.

One of the rare instances where the sequel is as good or better than the original! I admit that I haven't watched this as much as the first Die Hard, and it's been a long time since I last did, but I remember the gist of it. So thanks to my shoddy memory, I was "oooh"ing and "aaahh!"ing right along with you during the action scenes like it was my first time seeing it 😆 Some things certainly jogged my memory, like the icicle and the plane engine. What's funny is that I saw this movie when it came out in the theaters, and my mom took me! We were both big fans of the original. Oh and Asia you were right, that WAS the Terminator 2 guy! T2 came out the year after this.

Fun Fact! The cop who is always getting in Jon's way is played by an actor named Dennis Franz who actually at the time played the nations favorite NY Cop on a show called NYPD Blue. He had the distinction of being able to say they first authorized use of the word shit on a television show.

They are good, fun action movies and done in a way we don't see today, at least not in so much the same way. Sadly, from what i understand, Bruce won't be making any more movies as i hear he's not well. I can't remember what it is he has now but i believe it's something he can't recover from or be cured of.
