The Mountain is the Hound's brother. The Hound is with Arya. The Mountain was the man in the first season who split the horse in two. He burned the Hound's face when they were children. Those men in the brothel were Lannister soldiers, Oberyn knew that because they were singing the Lannister song. It's the same song that was playing before the Red Wedding blood bath. That's why Catelyn was freaking out before anyone else. Why would their allies be playing their enemies song.

Why do people keep saying this???? It’s not true at all. It’s not even true in the books. It’s was heavily foreshadowed that Robb would be killed, we saw it coming. Also the show cut out Ned’s fever dream where he comes to peace with the fact that he is going to be killed. Also all of the POV characters (the main characters) are still very much alive. Except for Ned and one other. But I don’t want to spoil anything so I won’t go any further.

Cersei wouldn't kill her own son, she was the only person that actually loved him and the way she was looking at Tyrion, she's convinced he did it. Tywin also wouldn't kill his grandson since he is still his heir and the King even though he didn't like him. Joffrey did have a lot of enemies that are capable of doing the deed.

Season 4 ep1 one of my favorites because it has my favorite Hound and Arya scene. The Hound is a fav of mine, he's a shades of grey character but he is a good guy when you get past that rough exterior. He hates bullies and does what he can to help out the victims. When Poliver threaten Ayra in that scene, it was a done deal. The Hound and Arya are the perfect "father and daughter" duo

The white trees with red leaves and faces carved into them are Weirwood trees. They're all over Westeros, but especially in the north. They're integral to the religion of the old gods. When they finished their training, and officially became Men in Black, Jon and Sam said their vows to join the Night's Watch in front of a Weirwood tree north of the Wall, where Ghost brought him a severed arm. There's a Weirwood tree in the godswood at Winterfell. That's where Ned was sitting, under the Weirwood tree by the water, sharpening his blade at the beginning of the series, and where Bran looked at Summer's reflection in the water when he was having his warg dreams, and where Hodor went skinny dipping, and where Maester Luwin died. There's some idea that all the Weirwood trees are connected to each other somehow.

there were Weirwood trees all over Westeros, but the rise of the Seven resulted in all the Weirwood trees getting cut down everywhere except the North. So they were unable to look after Ned when he went South.

In the book Catelyn's body was found by the brotherhood and brought back to life. Her body and face were very damaged and she became Lady Stoneheart. Also when the Hound fought in the bar he was badly injured and died, or so it was made to look. But he does come back as a gravedigger. Alot of changes were made in the series.

She was floating down the river and Arya warged into Nymeria during a dream retrieved the body and even kept the other wolves away (prior to being found by the brotherhood) If the books ever get finished I think Arya will be the one to give Stoneheart “mercy”

I can't understand people who stopped watching GOT after the Red Wedding. It's part of the story. I don't want to watch the same old story where the righteous and honourable characters defeat their evil enemies. I've seen that story a million times before. I like the tragedy of it. It's like when Mufasa dies rescuing Simba from the stampede or when Jack freezes to death so Rose can survive. The best stories have elements of tragedy and loss. In my opinion the Red Wedding is the greatest sequence of any show. The sudden explosion of violence takes you off guard and Robb takes a crossbow bolt before you can process what's happening. The show gives you a bit of hope when Robb gets on his feet and Catelyn takes a hostage to negotiate for Robb but then snatches it away by having Roose stick a dagger in his heart. Catelyns pained scream at the end rounds the scene off perfectly.

I just noticed, whenever Bj and Asia hear that song Lannisters and/or their men are nearby. When you watch the opening sequence each episode is slightly different, it shows us which city/location that episode is going take place. BJ,The Mountain is that massive guard that is still guarding Joffrey. That is said to be The Hounds brother,the guy that saved both Sansa several times first,then Arya. The Hound has longer hair and a burn,The Mountain has super short hair and has a "golden armor". His name is Gregor Clegane. At this point in the series we know that both The Hound and The Mountain guarded the Lannisters at one point,but The Hound wanted out of it,he doesnt care about the King anymore. So it might be safe to say that The Hound and The Mountain doesnt look eye to eye at the moment,as they are somewhat on the opposite side. The Hound seems to have more personality,while The Mountain simply does what the Lannisters tells him to do. I was stunned by how cold Tywin Lannister and Cersei were towards Jaime upon his arrival,its like he was dead to them the moment he got captured.
