The opening scene in episode seven, showing the date, was meant as a time reference for future episodes, specifically this one. It was intended to let viewers know that Christmastime was near.

Apparently, Buffy was unable to drive the stake deep enough to reach the turok-han's heart. Sunlight drove it away, so a powerful enough staking should work as well, in my opinion.

In order not to spoil herself with guest appearances in the credits, one reactor that I watch will cover the bottom half of her screen. So in this case, seeing Giles again was a happy surprise.

After that staking, I'll bet that this übervamp, was it Greek, taller and with hooves instead of fingers, would have laughed and said : - You'll gonna need a bigger stake, Slayer !

Bring On The Night Another terrific episode building up towards the epic ending of the Series. Again we see Joyce appearing to Buffy, but Buffy knows now it is not real. Some light relief with Dawn and Anya revelling in the interrogation of Andrew doing 'bad cop and bad cop'! When Buffy has the encounter with the Turok-Han, we can see alone at the moment she hasn't the power to defeat it, and this is shown again by her second encounter. However, she gives a superb speech at the end reminiscent of the speech in S5 Checkpoint when she calls out The Council. We can see Spike as well totally believe Buffy will save him him even though he is tormented by Drusilla and tortured by the Turok-Han. Giles of course survives his attack in London, and turns up with a few Potentials, but at this moment it is not enough. Principal Wood again we think is not what he seems, and a funny scene when Dawn says over the symbol in the basement they are burying a time capsule and says 'kids today drink Red Bull and watch Jackass'. All in all a brilliant build up to the end of the show with Buffy's brilliant speech at the end.

Spike being tortured by dru ,he wasn't even fazed .

It's interesting watching and listening to Dru not quite act like Dru and then hearing Spike bring up that fact. I would love to ask Dru's actress about that. The First acts Drusilla more as if its mocking Drusilla's behavior rather than being that way like Drusilla was. Juliet Landau did very well in the differences.

Glad your back. Good question where is Faith? Do you think Buffy would ever forgive Faith? Why would She forgive Faith? I can't wait for the Principal story. I love this season.

Without getting more specific, Faith would still be in prison. Saying any more would be a spoiler.
