This method only works in cartridges that contain a built-in print head.
If the cartridge cannot be reset and errors persist, then there is a chance
that the copper contacts on the cartridge printhead circuit board have been damaged.
There are pins that can become worn and short against each other,
causing errors and preventing further printing.
A close inspection may be necessary to determine if this is causing the problem.

احتمال تحتاج الى اعادة ضبط الطابعة ويكنك اتباع الخطوات التالية : اضغط مع الاستمرار على زر الإيقاف الذي يحتوي على أيقونة المثلث عن طريق الضغط باستمرار على زر الإيقاف واضغط مع الاستمرار على زر النشغيل ايضا، ثم بعد الضغط على زر التشغيل حرر زر الإيقاف (استمر في الضغط على زر التشغيل وحرر زر الإيقاف)، أثناء الضغط مع الاستمرار على زر التشغيل ،بعد ذلك اضغط على زر الإيقاف لمدة 5 مرات، ثم حرر زرالتشغيل ، انتظر حتى يصبح الضوء الأخضر مستقرًا أو ثابتًا، بعد أن يصبح الضوء الأخضر مستقرًا تكون الطابعة الآن في وضع العمل ، اضغط فقط على زر الإيقاف لمدة خمس مرات لإعادة تعيين عداد حبر الطابعة المستهلك ثم اضغط على زر التشغيل مرة واحدة ، بعد ذلك تتم إعادة تعيين الطابعة. Only method that worked for me. I tried to soak the bottom part only for a few minutes, it didn't work. Tried the rubbing alcohol method, didn't work. I finally gave up and figured why not just soak the whole thing. And it worked!

just peal of the sticker,there should be a hole to add ink.if you open it by prying apart the lid you might damage the triangle clips that hold the cartridge in the printer.if you damage it then it might not fit back into the printer.

A few things worth mentioning. It's not the fastest way if you have to soak the empty cases for 6 hours. Also sticky tape if wrongly positioned can block the vent holes and reduce flow of ink. I personally find using syringes for the separate colours and the black one injecting into the appropriate holes. The kits are available on KZbin. Also I use surgical disposable gloves to avoid messing up my hands with ink which is bound to happen and it's the devils job to wash off. But I do like the video it's an alternative method to the accepted way and you learn something about the cartridge design.

It works well and I have tried it before, but it is not better than this method because some or most of the cartridges need to be cleaned from the inside because the inks accumulate on the nozzle openings that are in contact with the sponge, especially when the printer is left idle for a period of time, so it is recommended to turn on the printer from time to time.

Welcome back, it is possible that you left the printer for a period of time without printing, which led to the blockage of the print holes (nozzles). The ink level is not detected except for the new cartridge because there is an electronic strip in the cartridge that is programmed in a way that does not allow the old cartridge to work, but despite that, it can work normally, but the lights remain on.

He just taped it back together: it's not like the edges are hermetically sealed. Better not let your full cartridges fall on their side or you will have a mess. I like this method, though. Nice to see what you are doing. I can't figure out why they don't all leak out the bottom when he fills them up with the tops all off and lets them sit there. I am used to old school HPs tho. (no longer an option) New to Canon.

Why did you not wash out the sponges and eould nog running the cartilage under running tap water wash them out quicker.

Of course, you need to wash it well to remove the remaining old ink. This was mentioned in the video at minute (5:30). The benefit of soaking is for the water to penetrate the nozzles and get rid of the hardened ink residue stuck to the cartridge.

فتحات الخرطوش ( النوزلات ) مسدودة بالتاكيد ، يجب عليك ان تزيد فترة النقع والتنظيف وفي حال لم تنجح الطريقة هذا يعني ان نوزلات الخرطوشة تالفة ويجب استبدال الخرطوشة . The cartridge nozzles are definitely clogged. You must increase the soaking and cleaning period. If the method does not work, this means that the cartridge nozzles are damaged and the cartridge must be replaced.

يمكنك تركه مفتوح لاعادة التعبئة ، ولكن يجب الحذر عند ادخال الخرطوشة في مكانها . واذا كنت ترغب باغلاق الخرطوش يمكنك ذلك بكل سهولة بواسطة مادة لاصقة . You can leave it open for refilling, but you must be careful when inserting the cartridge into its place. but If you want to close the cartridge, you can do so easily with an adhesive.
