I knew there had to be a way to do this. Everywhere I looked online said it's not possible but I just if the gas comes out of that nozzle when you push the button there has to be a way to put the gas into that nozzle as well. I kept try to do it by just pushing down on guess button but it's not working. If I just had to turn the gas all the way up

I had heard that you refuel it at the top but, uh, yeah, it migh help to have the valve open if you want the fuel to actually go into the Fuel chamber. Lol, someone forgot to tell me THAT part of the trick.

@@yukononun he puts the wire there to keep the gas from escaping and then he fills up the lighter through the hole in the top and you can clearly tell that he’s doing that by using your brain. why do you need to see the hole in the top? don’t you already know it’s there? have you even used a lighter before?? sorry to be rude about the way i’m commenting but this is just the way i talk. i used pliers to grab the flint from one of the ends and hold it sideways to stick it on the spring and eventually got it after 2 hours of trying with my fingers. my fingers were raw and numb so imma help some of u out lmao

I didn't have alot of trouble other than the Flints flying across my living room. Definitely a Challenge for anyone. I used my fingers and yea they were a bit sore. Glad you liked the video!😎

@@x-tremevidpro I had to use a pliers too. Don't know how you do it with your fat fingers(compliment). Wheel came off along with flint so I took another one apart to see where and how it goes it. I then have two bad lighters. With this video, I managed to fix one. Still looking for that flint that popped out.

It's tricky to get the wheel on forcing the flint downward and in the right striking direction and snap. Just practice is all it takes!😅

Yeah I’d love to know how and the fuck you got that damn flint in so fast and got it to stay while you were putting the roller thingy back in lmao. I ended up taking a very small dab of super glue and glueing the flint to the top of the spring and it worked perfectly. Just make sure you use just enough and not to much.

You can get pliers and take the entire thing off. They do the exact same thing like clipper does. Put it in from the bottom and spring then screw it in.

Found a Bic lighter from around the 80s with a flame adjuster long before the child safety was introduced. Going to try this out later on see if I can reuse a Bic lighter that's older them me.

I found this video because of an article and throughout the whole article it talks about a Bic lighter and this is very much so not a bic. I'm not sure if you're using Bic as a colloquialism or you don't know the difference but and actual Bic lighter it can't be refilled from the top I've tried a gizmilillion times. That being said I'll have to try this on my non Bic lighters. Thank you

@@x-tremevidpro crap, I've tried to get the flints back into the disposable bics for years and don't bother counting how many flints the spring has sent flying to places unknown to man. I can't believe you were able to put it back in and then to do it without it becoming airborne even ONCE! Hats off to you.

Good thing to do is get a thin enough emery board that fits flat in there (good ones are the ones on pocket knives or even the knife on the little blue Swiss army keychain size knife) so you can put the Flint in and hold it down then just slide a metal emery board or tiny pocket knife flat along the top and under your finger...the fact it's a metal one will be enough strength to hold it down easily then u can pop the wheel in and just pull the knife or file board out last second and it will release the spring just that one tenth of a millimeter till it hits the wheel and you don't have to try and hold it then last minute slam a wheel down four kilometers faster than a compressed spring has a chance to expand...and if you too are in a universe with Newtonian physics, good luck at your sleight of hand being the victor against the compressed energy of a spring.

Wire goes between the adjuster to keep the Valve wide open. Once full, pull wire back out and adjust Valve Clockwise to nearly closed.

Theirs no need for the paperclip. Just loosen and push finger on the gas release and fill. Regards.
