The wolves did win the trade Randle is on an expiring contract and the second apron wouldn’t have allowed the wolves to have any depth if they pay all three of their players. Ant is clearly the future and you need cap space. Him KAT and Gobert hit their ceiling last season and it was only getting more financially restrictive from there. The Knick’s are now locked into their high paid starting line up, with no depth. You have no idea if this was enough to put them over the top but you better hope it was because they can’t add anything else or deal with injuries. The bucks and Celtics are still better.
