My first REAL KZbin video (!) is all about saving a vintage Kaufman Furniture dresser from a date with a dump truck. Plucked from the side of the road, I work over two full days to repair, refinish, and turn this solid piece into something BEAUTIFUL! I love a wood and paint combination!
PS- YES, I know the music is loud. I was still learning. You'll find my later videos much better with the audio!

Hi all! Thanks for watching my FIRST OFFICAL VIDEO! Yes, I'm aware the music is a little loud. lol It was my first one, and I've been tweaking the levels in each subsequent video. No, I'm not ditching the music altogether, it's part of who I am! But I promise I'm trying to get the levels worked out. haha :-)

I've watched a lot of similar videos (people restoring old things, or doing woodwork) and I almost never leave a comment, but I figured this time I will since your channel is so new. What you do with the furniture is great, but honestly your voiceover is my favorite part. You sound very calm, friendly and genuine and your voice is really pretty, just like the furniture you save. Thank you and good luck with the channel!

Turned out beautifully! I was a career finisher and historic furniture Conservator so I recognize good workmanship. When it comes to bin pulls I always set them a bit higher than center because when viewed from standing height the pulls look too far down on the piece if centered. Liked, subbed and rang that bell!

Hey Angie, love this one. For backboards (I build flat pack furniture as a sideline) a good staple tacker is your best friend. Saves a ton of time and is way more secure. As for new hardware, measure and drill before painting, and a block of scrap wood pressed onto the back of the panel you're drilling into prevents tear out. I'm also a hobbyist flipper, just trying to get organised and start my own channel but you're still my go to for quality work and viewing.

I love when you made the mistake about the drawer pull holes you didn't get lazy and cut corners, you re-did everything. It's why you are great at what you do.
