Three Stage Paint - Creating a Let Down Panel

Tape your cards to a cardboard box rather than a stick. You will find it more accurate due to most of the time you apply more coats to the card because of overlap. If you watch the video you can see that the applicator put on like five coats on a three inch area. Tape your card to a box so you can get distance and overlap more accurate.

Refinish Network i usually do separate blow out cards with 1,2,3 and 4 coats of pearl. i found that most colours require 2 coats of pearl

Make your BASE COAT very close to the final coat. You will never MATCH your final color without deviating from the "recommended" base-coat. The rest is simple because YOU already have the TONE. Been working for me for over 38 years. Hugs! Love you guys:-)

This series is geared more towards people trying to get into the booth, but you'd probably be surprised at how many people spraying that have never been told this.
