A 1969 Coronado 25 Sailboat gets an entirely new electrical system. A built from scratch DC electrical system with Marine Grade Wiring running to all new LED light fixtures. Automatic Bilge Pump is finally installed along with some fans for the heat here in the Central Valley and Millerton Lake. A Garmin Fish Finder is installed to be used as a Depth Sounder

Mark, im happy to hear this. There’s an email on my page here and you are more than welcome to write me and we can communicate directly if you were wondering about anything else. I’m no professional but this is the SECOND Coronado 25 I have re fitted including the electrical and if I could do it a third time I would do things a bit more differently again. Not that any of this doesn’t work but looking back (these videos are recorded about a year ago) I would have things even better off than what I managed to do this time around. Coronados are great boats. Very comfy.

If you have an internal halyard, DONT tangle the halyard around the new wiring. It happened to me and I didn’t notice till after I stepped the mast. It had to come back down. Which sucked. Also, be sure to anchor the wires to a hook or clamp at the top and bottom because over time they will stretch under their own weight and eventually break themselves after only a few years. It was something Rick taught me while doing the mast. I hadn’t even thought of it.
