REFITTING THE STARTER MOTOR OF OUR YANMAR 2GM20 MARINE ENGINE

After a few issues with our engine starting, we took out the starter motor and gave it an inspection and a good clean. Watch Bob refit it into place and get our engine rolling again!

Sounds more like a possible fuel issue also? I’m not sure I have the same engine and once it turns over it fires over immediately. I’m just having the classic old starter issues where it sometimes doesn’t turn over.

can you please send me serial/ reference number for your new starter motor as the new 1 i was sent is to small even after i gave them the engine details ie yanmar 2 gm 20 and my old 1 is so corroded i cant get any id numbers off of it, many thanks. marc
