One thing I’d say is don’t uncage your attitude indicator until you’re engines you and running

'Ive been wondering about that too, but the manual say uncage it before engine start. You need to reset it after the first turn anyway :)

My mission 9: Curious and excited during the briefing while Zemke announces his daring fan innovation. En route, highly focused on flying a tight formation, managing my ship, regularly switching tank, going far into enemy territory, already expecting a tough trip back to base. No time to realize it, already caught in a massive dogfight, fighting for my life, getting my first kill, losing my wingman, receiving hits while trying to escape two 109’s on my tail. Escaping this chaos by miracle, now alone in the sky, with a crippled ship that cannot fly straight and level for more than 1 second. Going west, struggling to keep it flying, praying when Flak goes by. The Channel, will I make it? Fuel is low, I should ditch. Nah, would be too easy. Finally might be able to reach the airfield, going on. I see High Halden! Calling ATC, now in short final, I have to belly land, ship too unstable. I aim for the grass strip near the runway, almost stall it…. I give everything I got, I am down, alive. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! Thank you Reflected, this is as close as it can get!

This look awesome, but I will definitely need some P47 practice on long time flight. Thanks for all the tips, especially the one for the external drop tanks (the 10min switch). I wasn't aware of that. This campaign will definitely be really helpful to help me master the Jug.

Great video man, you earned my sub! I really want to play this or at least try it. I went to Steam and tried to download "DCS world", it's a free download so I assumed that I'm supposed to download that first and then I can order whichever software I want like this one or the F6F Hellcat or whatever. However, the download just keeps stopping for some reason. Is there something else that I need to do to be able to play this? Thanks for any information or help! And thank you for a great video! 🙂

I want so badly to enjoy these missions but my main bearings are just popping ALL THE TIME. I have no clue whats wrong - if I go out of the green arcs (25RPM or 40MP) it takes maybe 2 seconds and the engine just starts knocking. Can anyone tell me whats up? I played the first mission, escorted bombers for an HOUR and then the first engagement I had the RPM went past 25 and pop - done.
@ReflectedSimulations2 жыл бұрын
It can be several things: - you didn't warm up the engine properly - you didn't manage your temperatures properly - You overboosted the engine - used too much boost with too little RPM - You destroyed the bearings by using high RPM but not enough boost
@JetlinerX2 жыл бұрын
@@ReflectedSimulations oh I wasn't aware RPM required boost! Thank you! My actual issue was I wasn't aware the RPM was automatic, so I had been CONSTANTLY adjusting the electric RPM with a joystick binding. Your takeoff and landing tutorial saved me a ton of headache. I still managed to pop the engine again in a dogfight on Mission 2 in a dive tho. Ugh, so much to learn. 😭 Edit: I guess the boost to RPM thing makes total sense. I'm just used to naturally aspirated engines where it's hard to get those things out of balance haha
@jonridley Жыл бұрын
I had some issues with the quick climb. Keeping the revs high had a tendency to bust the engine. I will try different engine settings and see what’s what. Hard plane to balance the engine. 😂

There are some, but not a lot - these are missions that were actually flown in real life, and there weren't too many ground attacks. But after breaking off the bombers you can go down and strafe stuff ;)

@fastfed3 жыл бұрын
@@ReflectedSimulations holy crap this campaign is co-op ?? this would be the first and would more than likely make double the money a single only player campaign gets! not sure why its not advertised like that?? wait is this co-op? or are we talking about 1 lousy mission out of all of them?
@ReflectedSimulations3 жыл бұрын
@@fastfed Only 2'lousy' missions are available as coop, this is one of them. Problem is, it's not just a few clicks to turn a mission into a properly working coop, like many imagine it. Also, DCS is changing constantly. The AI behavior, the core code, everything. I have to work after every update to make sure all my missions work 100% with the latest version. Some people want a coop version. Some want an airstart version. Some want an easy version, etc...I'd end up having to keep 24/36/48 ...etc...missions up to date instead of 12 - and it's only one campaign. It's just not feasible. I decided to offer 2 of the missions as coop because some people asked for it, but that's all I can do.
@fastfed3 жыл бұрын
@@ReflectedSimulations but 8f you made a full campaign and advertised it as coop you would be the first and I will put my money where my mouth is. I bet you make 50-100% more then any other campaign you made. If you made a campaign with the su25 as coop it would be the #1 seller.if not I will make up the difference . You don't realize how big multiplayer is. Make a 5 mission coop just to test and charge 19.99 for it. I still bet it will sell more than anything. Why not try it ???
