Reflecting on Life with Miriam ffitch is a look back at her ninety one years. She shares her almost brush with a career in politics in parliament as she took the entrance exam at The London School of Economics. She also shares her vast travel to many different countries with her husband and children. She explores themes of racism, motherhood, oneness no matter what culture you are raced in. Please enjoy this interview with Miriam as Alicia and Christi did. She kept us quite entertained for about two hours and following that we enjoyed a proper English tea.

About Our Village, Our Voices:
Our Village, Our Voices is working to build a stronger more tight knit community of women in the Portland Metro Area. Through our interviews we are raising awareness of issues affecting women, celebrating successes, and embracing diversity. Each woman in our community has a story to tell, a life lived with trials and triumphs, which when shared works to lift another’s life. In general women talk, we learn and grow through conversation. We are working to have the conversations and share those conversations with the larger community so all can be lifted together.
Alicia Beesley and Christina Dodge have been friends since 2012 and made the decision to join efforts bringing their own unique gifts to the channel that is now Our Village, Our Voices. Our vision is for Our Village, Our Voices to grow into a larger platform. We seek to become not just a series of interviews, but a platform where others can use their mediums to share and lift our community. We know that by collaborating with others we can promote greater tolerance, acceptance, and understanding.
