Dude, they played this song on Saturday on totally destroyed. My cousin did merch for them on their last tour, so I got to meet them when they came to my town. They're super nice guys. Keep it up!!

Matt Gemme When I saw them, Patty and Charles did some insane thing where they both faced each other and fretted each other's guitars while soloing O_O I must go to another one of their shows. Their stage presence is astonishing.

Yup thats one of the keys for fast and precision playing. Near impossible to down stroke some of these sections. I remember Lukas Mann saying he alternate picks everything besides sweeps.

Anthony Campbell composing its an different skill than just the playing technique, you can be a awesome performer but suck as a composer, you have to focus on getting better on composing, just playing scales a lot of times in a very high speed doesnt guarantee you to compose good material.

Zachary mate, i use 11 guage set and a .70 guage string on the B string (my headposts dont allow anything thicker) as its still unplayable what do u suggest!?

widen the hole then you should be able to get a little more out of them if you use a drill or a file to widen said hole

just because there are guitarists that are very technical doesnt mean that a) you should give up and b) they are gods. Not discrediting these guitarist becasue i truly believe they're amazing, im just saying from my point of view being a guitarist myself, that playing fast sweeping parts and finger tapping is is not really hard per say. There are very many guitarist who are extremely talented and geniuses without having crazy taping and fast sweeping :)
