Congrats of your 2024. My shop ended on a high note itself for 2024. Yes, orders picked up after the election right into 2025. So much that we worked New Years Day 10hrs. Had to get things done shipped when customers got back 1/06.

Great video guys! I just started my machine shop back in July and I can confirm a lot of your struggles are very real. I killed my mill installing renishaw probing software to the tune of $4k circuit boards. Keep at it so you can get to the bigger more challenging problems of running a business… more people.

Completely swamped in 2024. 2025 is starting out the same. I hope it keeps going. Heard of alot of shops slowing down but haven't felt it. My only advice is to always be selling. I have went another direction on my sales tactics. I haven't posted a single time on social media since going full time. I have sealed more deals with a conversation and a hand shake from people in pasts lives than anything else. I never leave leave people with a sour taste even if I can't stand them as a person. Never know when that door will open in a different direction. That person you thought was a jerk in management may of been forced to act a certain way and you may not of realized it as a employee.
