Jacque Fresco reorganized my way of thinking. He definitely didn't fall victim to most of the poisonous thinking that many people have fallen victim to. "It must be a privilege to serve members of society. Not that we want rewards, or medals or honors for what we do but that it's just an an honor to do it." - Jacque Fresco

I have never had the pleasure to meet this great man, to my pity, i didn't knew who this figure was before 2010, i live in Portugal and to my great sadness my country never had the privilege to have his presence here (to my knowledge), and it will never will... Jacques (to me) was among the greatest persons in the 20th/21st century, i put him along side with Einstein and the great minds of this century. He certainly deserved my appreciation for what he stood for, i'm just sorry to see he was probably right, in fact i really hopped that he was wrong on this but our society is declining at an alarming rate (worldwide) we can be more technological advanced but people care only about themselves (99.9%) and knowledge is becoming more scarce among people (relevant knowledge) Jacques was a true GOOD man (to where i can see). At times he seemed a little bit radical, but even them if we really look inwards we know he might be right. He didn't propose something as his, nor something that is unchangeable, his approach was to find a solution, not THE solution to solve a problem, he really put some effort into thinking on possible ways to change the life (to better i want to believe) for all of us, and to the day WE didn't fully took advantage of all or some of his work. Greatest HUMAN that lived in MY time. Godspeed Jacques

This is the impact he had on my life for the very short yet extremely enlightening period of time i got to know about him and his work. It's up to us to make it happen and I hope we do the best we can to carry the torch into the future.. I know i'll try my damnedest where possible.. thank you, Jacque.

I hope we can honor this phenomenal man and his memory by stopping every day and reflecting about ourselves. What have I done today to make someone else's life better? Whose voice have we not heard? Before we can even begin to get the rest of the world on board with RBE and the idea of a completely new social structure, I think we first need to listen to others without judgment and find out what matters to them. And then we can connect how all these ideas of Jacque and many futurists would actually help them reach their goals.
@libraryjestercafe36237 жыл бұрын
It's the most meaningful video ever possible in my view, because it's a beautiful summary of perhaps the greatest person who ever lived about his project which deals with all of society and gets it all so well, and the reality that Roxeanne was his protégé and was able to conjure this reflection-- on top of all this, it was the time period and before civilization really began that Jacque did a comprehensive getting-to-the-bottom of all our problems and coming up with the proper equation to solve it all, while every other influential person was focusing on one specific equation like Einstein or anyone else, and for the rest of time we probably wouldn't even have the opportunity for such a thing because the Venus Project would be indefinite (which is a positive); and then there's what it has meant to, for instance, the people walking and dreaming about it towards the end of the video. And then the final farewell to Jacque at the end, which appears like it was recorded by him and Roxeanne to be released for the occasion he might not be around anymore. The most honest life story.

Whether observed and analysed from an economical, ecological, climatological, geopolitical or even psychological point of view, all current indicators invite the global society to set course towards the concepts and philosophies of a Natural Law Resource Based Economy. The longer this mere evolutionary logic will remain denied or surpressed, the larger the collateral damage will expand, even if it has already reached most critical levels in all aspects of a human enterprise on life support.
