I love how Blizzard showed Widowmaker's moment. They could have had her sitting at her headquarters drinking a glass of wine staring at a roaring fireplace, but they decided to deepen her lore and character by having her visit the grave of Gérard Lecroix. It proves that even after Talon brainwashed her and had her kill numerous people, a part of Amélie Lecroix still lives and is saddened by the fact that she killed her husband.

It's charging nearby. It doesn't only have to be on her to work, it works when she's within a certain radius of it. How else does she shower/sleep? It'll be uncomfortable with something as heavy as an accelerator on!
