Alexei Abakumov 'Hurrdurr, Challenger in Korea=Silver in NA and EU' he has said that countless times (Of course I'm not quoting him or anything, but he says things along the same line as that). Yeah competitively-wise, Korea would shit on the Western teams, but he referenced SoloQue.

I dont get all the negative comments. Ok, he's wearing a mask and the audio isn't the best, but isn't the content worth listening to the interview anyway? Do you think he likes wearing it? He needs to wear it and it´s better for his health, and that´s more important than a perfect audio. Just be happy to get so much information and start respecting other people, if you cant deal with a mask then dont watch, no need to leave salty comments that obviously wont have any positive impact on anything. And about the surgery thing, you can't judge someone you dont know and it´s none of your business. I am personnaly uncomfortable with plastic surgery but it doesnt mean I will criticize him. He lives in a completely different environment than all of us and it changes everything. I wish he could finally get a bit more support because his contribution to the community has been amazing so far and he definitely earns some respect.

So what if we are getting content? It is their business to provide content, and it is in their best interest to make it good. Criticism is not always an attack. It can be people providing pointers so they can enjoy it more because they want to consume said content. Also, it is unprofessional. I can't say much about the mask, but the audio is bad on any standard. Simple measures can be used to improve the quality, like using lapel microphones. That would avoid having the mic getting blown by the fan, for instance. Don't be so sensitive about people giving advice and criticism.

I understand your point of view. Constructive comments are a good way to improve content and point out some mistakes that could be avoided in the future in order to produce better quality content, I agree. My comment was more directed towards purely mean or meaningless comments that could just hurt without doing any good. Both LS and Thorin are smart enough to make the difference between smart and stupid comments, but I just felt like I had to say something considering the amount of dislikes and such reactions. I'm just saying whenever you post something you have to think about consequences and some people dont seem to realize their words can hurt, that´s it.

Before this video i never heard about this guy, and to be honest first few moments i thought he wasn't worth listening watching (my bad). But after i watched it my opinion changed completely. He is a bloddy genius, and he has a very good perspective on looking at things and making an opinion about every thing noted in this interview, that it is just amazing to listen to, and I think all the people that hated it, should start making two opinions about things like he does, not just stick to your own hate/love becuase that's what makes a good person who can teach you something or who can teach some things to anyone. Huge respect.

To be honest, I found it hard to like you at first. Ofcourse due to the fact that it's never nice to hear that your region sucks at your fav. game, which is understandable, but finally I was really thought on WHY the koreans are actually so much better and not that they just are, so now I can find peace with that I guess. Also, I think you're an extremely smart and passionate kid and I admire that and I think that if you try you can make it a lot further than this.(not that this isn't far but you get my point) Just keep doing what you love, and try to love what you do. Be happy, the internet sucks don't take it too harsh. At the end of the day, all that matters is your own happiness. Greetings from Diego Holland

First off, good job on your content Thoorin, you keep it 100% and I appreciate that. Secondly, I agree with most of what my KZbin constituents are saying, I really dont like this guy. His belief's on "achievements only mean work not skill" is absurd. In every sport ever the greatest players in a game are judged by winning (championships, medals), their stats, and how their team mates and opponents viewed them. LS might be the only guy in the world that views the success of winning a poor measure of skill. There's a reason why people consider Michael Jordan the greatest player of all time vs Magic Johnson or Larry Bird. LS has this problem of really good players not getting the recognition they deserve and you can see how passionate hes about it and how it reflects his personality.
@LSXYZ9
@LSXYZ9 10 жыл бұрын
No what I said is achievements do not always equal skill only worth, which is true. Michael Jordan is worth a hell of a lot more than most players ever, because of his achievements, which once came from skill. It does not mean that other players cant be better than him after a period of time (faker vs apdo) ... If you're good, you get recognition in any sport, even the worst NFL/NBA players still make tons of money/get credit in some way, but you don't see that in e-Sports as often.
@puresecs199
@puresecs199 10 жыл бұрын
lastshadow9 Im sure your not as broad as you come out to be in this interview but the way you reference Apdo not getting not getting the respect and notoriety comes off salty as fuck. To some degree I think that its true, the common fan takes a great play from a single match and comes to the conclusion that said player is "godlike" and the best. Its very prolific on reddit and completely understandable why players in the scene find it offensive and annoying. Heres the thing, in every sport, with talking head shows (90% of the garbage on ESPN), despite their admiration for a great player or great team, the best player or the best team is always acknowledged with achievements because of the perception of what a real champion is which to me is someone who wins.

I don't think you comprehend what he said. On AVERAGE meaning take 100 games and avg out froggens performance over bjergsen then yes Froggens average games will be better than bjergsens, performance wise. But there will be 5 games out of that 100 that bjergsen will perform at level that froggen will never be able to achieve. Yes bjergsen hypothetically went ham on those 5 games. But putting all those 100 games together on avg Froggen will out perform him even though bjergsen reached a level that froggen couldn't.
