The abuse is essentially a complete erosion of a sense of self from shaming, avoidant dismissive behaviour, cheating and gaslighting, intermittent reinforcement and sadistic intentional abuse levied against our reactive abuse (which I was abusive reactively, I have BPO/BPD, not an excuse btw) Again, everything intended to essentially bully you 😭 Essentially, they cause you a psychotic break from reality from such a incomprehensible list of shit, perceptions of you from one individual FOR YEARS with no other support or venting or gaging if you are perceiving wrong, ontop of once the shared fantasy is dissolved on your end,(love the naming of the album now btw) they still kinda live in it and act around you, but VERY quickly realize you are different, ie you know they are fucking wrong and try to re hoover you, or put you back into "people pleasing mode", This causes probably a final nail in the coffin, because it's a "false self" you put up to cope with being around a sadist....
