Well done. A lot still to do, but that´s a good kick start. Brazil Atlantic forest was amazing and should be kept so for the future generations. I hope this actions follow closely with education and "wake up call" actions within the local population. Bottom line, it´s their land and they are the ones who need to understand why to keep it lush. Cheers ;-)

Nice efforts! I wonder why there is no such program in the northeast of Brazil? I have seen the semi deserts in Piaui. Does Brazilian government gives loan to the farmers for plantation and to make big water ponds for rainwater harvesting?

In relatively small scale it as been happening. Although the reality on the ground it´s not so nice yet, it´s still sparse and scarce. A gigantic job in a gigantic country. Will need a few generations to be accomplished. ;-)

I'm impressed.Brasil to the rescue of the planet. It was know 50years ago that clearing South American forests and the Amazon would take too much from the lungs of the earth.

My suggestion start planting from sea coast using SEA WATER. plant trees favourable to climate,soil of the sea-coast regionsThat boost to your project.Then move ahead. Don't forget to trap rain water by applying rain water harvesting system
