@@tomtemple69 The initial stages of the Reformation was going to Scripture, but the Bible is far more nuanced than just Reformed theology now. Besides that the history of Reformed theology is complex, including both Calvinism and Arminianism, and you could argue it led to Dispensationalism. In Christianity's history Scripture is a balance usually between polarizing sides when the reality and truth is more in balance.

2:35 If I remember correctly, I don’t think they ever ended up answering that question conclusively. I think ultimately the reason that Samson didn’t lose his strength until his hair was cut was because every single one of his vows had been broken (touched several corpses, presumably drank wine at his wedding feast, and finally had his hair cut.)

The mackerel part with R.C. is hilarious, makes me laugh every time, he had a wonderful sense of humor :D. Thank you for this, if you watch more of the interviews of John MacArthur by Phil Johnson, you will get more funny clips, especially the Strange fire conference and the 3 Q&As related to it and others from the past 10 years. There is one, cant recall if you included it in another video, were John MacArthur talks about him having his office at home and Patricia trying to find a pizza thin enough to slide under the door lol and then I think he mentions his grandchildren who never knock lol. Anyway, excellent content as always, keep it up.
