That definitely sounded like Lawson’s laugh in the audience at the end 😂

The standing ovation at the end is a really well deserved one for Pastor Jmac's endurance in Ministry. Pastor White's reaction to babies being baptized by Presbyterian's had me ROFL 🤣 May God bless with more such funny moments from these great men of God. 🤣🤣

Thank you for this! I love the way the Presbyterians talk about infant baptism around Dr. White and then get nervous after they do it, especially after “the partial quote of Acts 2:29.” 😂 The never ending friendly discussion among reformed folk.

They were giving John a standing ovation because HE LOOKED AT HIS WATCH!!! 🤣😂 They've been workin' on that man for 50 some odd years on the clock thing! 😅

Austin Duncan is seriously underrated - his sense of humor and timing is so spot on! And he does a wonderful job preaching in the pulpit (I know - that's the most important thing!) :)

I know this has been out a couple days, but I've been feeling down lately (acknowledging my sinfulness while needing to forgive someone in a big way). This episode really made me laugh and smile so much this morning. I'm so grateful I'm Reformed because I can rest in Christ...but I also got to see my buddy and brother, John Calvin, and his epic sunglasses 💪🏻😎✝️

These days i thinks "They" make a point to be funny just to make it into your clips. LOL. And after watching these 15 minutes clips, I end up an 4-6 hours catching up on the conference that I missed. Thank you for posting. I so much enjoy "the virtual fellowship". God bless these men.

One of the things that I love about John MacArthur is that not only is he a very serious, wise, no-nonsense preacher/teacher, but he has a great sense of humor. He is not a joke teller in the pulpit, but he occasionally comes off with humorous lines during his sermons, just enough to make you love him all the more.

I absolutely love my Presbyterian brothers! I love that Dr James White can have fun with them too, lol, Chocolate Knox asking for someone to save him from James White 😂🤣😂 I love it! Great job again brother! Also, I'm looking forward to the reformed motivation video!

Absolutely great brother! Your edits just add another layer of fun! Calvin and Katie were hilarious! The broken glasses, classic!! J Mac’s humility and sense of humor at the end was a great bookend! I knew he wouldn’t acknowledge the standing O with a bow but that eternal reward crack took the tension off and was wonderful. Keep up the great work, can’t wait for the Dr White video he can definitely make some timely cracks! Soli Deo Gloria ✝️

On the 8/1 ep. of Wretched, segment 3/4 has a really good clip that I also heard a while back on JMac's encounter with a demon possessed lady. Super funny! Not sure if there's a youtube clip of that, but i'm sure even an animated cartoon would be great material for a RFM vid. God bless! Thanks for the great content.

Exactly lol. My closest Brother is a Presbyterian and we no longer debate the baptism issue. We love each other enough to say "you're wrong" and laugh and move on. If Sproul and MacArthur can disagree and still love each other as Brothers that's a good example for us to follow. God bless.

Nice job guys. Funny but the thing that got me was the standing ovation for Dr. John MacArthur. After defending him from his endless detractors by clowns claiming he's a false teacher and he's leading his followers to hell I guess his congregation thinks otherwise. He's no Bill Johnston and thank God for that!

I was listening to a sermon from Steve Lawson today and stumbled on a funny moment taking place in the middle of the sermon, thought it might make the Kuiper Belt cut! The sermon is here kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5mXlJeohJ5_j80 and the moment begins at 22:01 and concludes at 22:52, just got a kick out of "that's not the right time to say 'amen'..." haha, worth listening to the whole sermon of course but would love to see this moment in one of these videos!
@renlamomtsopoe2 жыл бұрын
Why the standing ovation though?
@gisellerodrigues5712 жыл бұрын
Probably based on the whole Q&A experience. It feels to me like the kind expression of gratitude towards John's work and his good spirits, his disposition in attending those conferences, even though he's old, busy, etc.
@Savedbygrace222 жыл бұрын
The title at the bottom of that part in the video explained it. The Q&A was focused on his over 50 years in ministry. They were thanking him for his 50 years pastoring at that church.
