One time I was messing with an IRS scammer. At one point we both dropped our "act" and started talking. He told me how bad he felt doing what he was doing and how his sister is so disappointed him and what he was doing. He said he worked in a normal bank call center for a large American bank. (think about that) But had lost his job there and started working for a scammer. He said he was gonna quit. And at the end asked me to pray with him. It was surreal.

Jan Miller I think that’s kind of the problem with the scam baiting videos. I enjoy them, but sometimes I wonder why they’re so villainized when it’s not unlikely that they feel they have no other choice to feed their family. I’m sure there are real slime balls running and operating these scams but not unlike big business they have employees who may not even realize the consequences of their actions past keeping their family alive.

No... It's obvious what happened. He peered over the cubical walls, and at a distance saw three security guards advancing towards him. Realizing that it was over, he quietly sharpened all of his pencils and placed them neatly in his shirt pocked. His hands slowly rose above his head in order to show submission, he meekly lowered his gaze to the floor, thinking about his wife and children. But in a frenzied desperate play for survival, moving at blur speed, aiming each pencil towards their scowling targets, he stabbed each of the security guards IN THE FACE. Bolting to the exit that leads downstairs to freedom, the Rolex wearing... creepy... rat faced boss JUMPED in front of him. Snarling like a cornered tiger, he grabbed the shirt collar, pushing him backwards till he fell onto his back hitting the stairs with a crunch. He rode his boss to the bottom, like a bloody senseless sled, allowing our hero's INSTANT escape into the bustling market place. Now he works as a consultant for the police, infiltrating these fraudulent call centers, teaching the detectives in detail how the operation works. But he has resumed what he loves most which is teaching. But he makes such a decent salary working for the police, he is able to volunteer tutoring children who need it most.

Same. He said he was a Christian which makes him a huge religious minority in india where Christians do face persecution. There was a video made by a scam baiter earlier this year that gained access to a scammer call centers CCTV cameras and their recorded phone calls. They monitor those phone calls like a real call center and spend money for those pop up blockers to lock up peoples computers and drive in calls to the scam centers. I really hope nothing happened to the guy for trying to help people not get scammed. At the very least I imagine they would beat him up and fire him on the spot if they caught him doing this.

@@sojournerinaforeignland5144 I believe your referring to Jim Browning video and if so that was an amazing inside look to what goes on in these horrible places and the only light I see is when the very few of them finally decide to leave... It isn't often that they make that choice but when they do it definitely feels like we finally got a win and are slowly crackin down on the scamming business!! We all need to keep spreading the word as well in our towns and have those people spread the word so that eventually their scams just simply won't work anymore! That is my wish, that the scamming finally ends one day before anyone else takes their life because I know the lady who took her life here in Texas and it's sad that such an amazing good hearted woman felt so deprived and robbed that she took her own life!!! It could be a case of poverty. Not everyone who gets into these scams is out to deceive and steal from people, some just can't get work and these places will grab anyone who can read and lie to someone over the phone. Some just need to provide for their families and are willing to do whatever they need to do so. After all, this is much safer and more comfortable than prostitution or local robbery.

Overpopulation is a huge issue that people are afraid to discuss. There are just too many people in India! There are only so many jobs and once those are filled, what are the rest of the 1 billion people supposed to do? And please be smart enough to refrain from saying they could buy some property and live off the land. There's too many people to all go "live off the land", and how are they going to afford to buy land! We need to be careful to not assume that everyone has the same opportunities, rights, protections, and options we have!!

@Donna Brooks....Overpopulation is not the problem, Japan has very high population density but high living standards. The problem is poor decision by our politicians, especially the founding fathers. The typical Indian is encouraged to get a degree (not learn skills) and get a got government job (not create anything of value). Add to that the corruption problem. We are moving in the right direction now, but still very, very slowly.

And this guy has shown us that they don't always enjoy it either, and that a lot of the times it's done out of necessity. JustOneSmallOlive It's like Crusader Kings 2... Sometimes you just gotta kill your brother so that your genius baby can inherit the throne, y'know? Other times your uncle will be leading a faction that want to be silly little independent states that would immediately be conquered so you just need to arrest him for his heretical beliefs and throw him in a giant deep hole in your dungeon... Or maybe you marry the Holy Roman Emperor's daughter and don't want him having any more children in case he has a son which could mess up your dreams of becoming emperor so you need to blow him up, despite the fact that it'll make your wife despise you... But you will give her money to make her despise you ever so slightly less so that she will be more likely to get pregnant... Because what better way to punish the person who murdered your father to usurp his empire than to give his murderer an heir and have things go exactly as he planned? The reason nice guys finish last is because Machiavellian sociopathic kinslaying bad boys were all the rage in the Middle Ages from what my experience has taught me...
