What does it look like to love those who have been affected by crime and incarceration? As a Prison Ministry Manager for Prison Fellowship in ME & NH, I am challenged and enlarged by that question every day. Thank you for taking the time to review this book and grapple with the hard questions.

Great review of the book. I will get a copy of the book myself as I am a firm believer of Law and Order and strict laws to be followed. Our criminal justice system has to be strict and punish criminals to the full extent but at the same time should be fair and apply to all members (groups, race, etc) equally. To the extent they are not we need to fix those areas not by being soft on crime but punishing those who were advantaged by the system and not prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Another words, we need to enforce criminal laws to all groups to the full extent equally regardless of race, group identity, etc.

Great review. Since it’s published by Crossway I can see it might have that theological thought leaning. I have just started watching your videos and enjoy your approach. I find it difficult to rate nonfiction which I read quite a bit.

Looks like a chunker. Hopefully it will get read and bring about some informed questioning and debate. The current election cycle here is leading to a lot of over the top 'law and order' verbiage that makes me think people aren't thinking through these things carefully enough.
