Please Please Please....go right back to the beginning and show us how to get files from the Max onto your computer and then the magic of the new GoPro Player to either produce 360 or reframed "flat" videos....that part seems a bit confusing right now as Quik does not seem to work and doesn't transfer the .360 files over.... BTW what version of Premiere Pro did you use...the new 2020 version has problems with both the old VX as well as the new FX plugins....I have had to remove the older versions and the new FX one gives low level exceptions....I would imagine GoPro/Kolor will update FX....its really powerful but only works nicely in PP 2019.... @abekislevitz3 жыл бұрын
Two things - if you’re editing in 360, you’ll want to adjust source rather than the pan tilt rotate because those won’t do anything if you have projection on source. Secondly, if your 360 renders out not straight or level, the source operations can tweak the baseline orientation so that the next layer of pan tilt rotate are oriented correctly.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🎥 The video introduces the GoPro FX Reframe plugin for Adobe Premiere, designed for reframing 360 content. 01:07 📐 360 content needs to be converted into an equi-rectangular pro res format for editing in Premiere. 02:58 💻 The plugin allows for various output resolutions, such as 16:9 or social media formats, maintaining the reframing adjustments. 05:34 🔄 The GoPro FX Reframe plugin offers controls for pan, tilt, rotate, lens curve, and zoom to reframe 360 content. 16:14 ⏲️ Keyframes in Premiere can be adjusted for smooth motion between frames using continuous Bezier curves. 19:06 🎞️ Nesting clips in Premiere is recommended for handling different frame rates and applying speed ramping adjustments. 21:13 📱 You can easily export reframed content for different frame sizes, such as Instagram stories, without losing quality. 22:36 🖌️ Fine-tuning adjustments can be made when exporting to different frame sizes to ensure the best composition. This is great, thank you. Got a question though. Is there any way there can be a sort of " Vr headset Mouselook" style recording to apply keyframes? Specifically, say, in the same manner that the mobile device 'overcapture' mode would work, where you could simply point while recording to continously change the point of view ? I am looking at doing things with a motorcycle on track, and it is very difficult to effectively do this with keyframes as easily as it is to simply aim the phone where i am looking during overcapture. It would be incredible to have a plugin to allow, say, the accelerometer output of the vr headset to do this same thing..

Hi Abe, it is really helpful for me as beginner to see this tutorial. However, I have reframed some of my footage direction in the GoPro App and then transferred it for further cutting into Premiere. I came to the conclusion that it is quicker to work on an IPAD with the App instead of the Premiere FX. I am aware that you can do more things with the GoPro FX Reframe in Premiere but in terms of speed it seems to me that the combination of the GoPro App with Premiere is easier for me as beginner. Are there any other disadvantages of this approach of which I might not be aware? In particular as Windows user and as long as GoPro does not offer the GoPro Player for Windows I do not really see a quicker way of doing it.

Thanks for the excellent tutorial and demo. I'm a newbie and have a question. Is there a way to lock the default view to the camera orientation instead of the inertial frame? I have an Insta360 One X mounted at the front of my motorcycle tank and want the dominant view to be of the instrument console and through the windshield (the front camera view), while occasionally cutting (and overlaying) to me and other views. Is there a way to set this in the plugin or do I need to have an extra export step from Insta360 studio to produce the equirectangular video with locked orientation? Without locked orientation, editing is such a chore because I continually need to change the orientation with keyframes throughout the video as my superbike turns through corners. Also, does it provide any ability to automatically follow an object in the view by continually changing the orientation as it moves through the frame? Show less

Absolutely legendary! Hope it works with Fusion as well. Is it possible to use motion-tracking on these shots in After Effects? Previously to center a 360 camera on a marble, I had to manually export a 2D rectangular video before fine-tuning the motion tracking, but maybe now I can do it all straight from the original file. Also would be really neat if users could "film" a shot with a VR headset or phone accelerometer while looking at 360 footage.
