HOW DID YOU TYPE THIS IF YOU'RE BLIND???? (wait why did i type this if you're blind)

@@kimberlyyeatts hi there. Good question. I have something on my device called VoiceOver which is a screen reader and will read me what’s on the screen. Just like anybody can I can use dictation which is a microphone. For that I can talk into my phone. Sometimes not everything comes out perfectly but it’s usually pretty good and that’s what I rely on. Other times though for more complicated words or words my dictation isn’t picking up I can just type into my keyboard. My screen reader will read out each letter to me and then I can double tap it to add it into the text message or whatever I’m typing with that matter. If I only touched The key ones it would just tell me the letter nothing else. I also know how to type in so I know how the keyboard works and where the letters are. Do you have any other questions

@@kimberlyyeatts to answer your second question why did I type this. I typed it because I want to share information and even though I am legally blind I can still share my opinions. I feel the same right and ability to do that even though I don’t have perfect vision. my vision isn’t a part of me being able to tell people what I think make reviews make recommendations or leave comments on KZbin. Vision and being able to make comments don’t go hand-in-hand at all

The dots are very aggressive and easier to read than brl on paper.

Could an advanced Braille keyboard be made with this technology?
@glowllama4 ай бұрын
Most Braille Displays do have keyboards! Do you see 2 sets of 4 buttons on the device? (I can't see it) If you do, that's the keyboard. 1 for each each dot that makes a symbol, and then the backspace and enter button. If you see a long horizontal button, that's the spacebar. However, there is one called the Mantis Braille Display that has a normal keyboard attached.

Some people who are blind can still see certain things. They may see far less but can pick up on certain things.
