Refreshed 2021 Tesla Model S - Software update with subwoofer activation

Hmm, I have a 2021 Model S long range and I don’t have a sub adjustment under my audio settings. Software version v10.2 (2021.11.102 a5656bc05b48) Any idea why?

So weird that it wasn’t already active but glad to hear that this fixes the issue. How does it sound now compared to the 3? I really loved the sound system in my 3P.

Do you think model 3 and model y has that update to adjust subwoofer setting?

No they come with sub activated. I had 2 model 3s I don’t remember if it was adjustable. The revised model S was a work in progress when released. Still is, so included features are still being added and tweaked.

@@toothfixer oh okay I see but my cousin bought his model y new straight from Tesla and subwoofer was thumbing but I’m not sure either if it came like that

Still trying to figure out this GoPro. Seems I changed video format and need to switch back to widescreen mode. I’ll get the hang of it soon hopefully!

Rob, pretty please tell us where you found that autopilot buddy device for the new yoke!

It’s the one from my model 3. Not perfect fit but works and oddly contour is just about perfect. It does get in the way of the mic input button if used on the right and turn signal if used on the left.

@@toothfixer maybe it’s a good thing it gets in the way of those buttons so you don’t accidentally press them while turning. The is for the info!

Great info about the sub. The sound system is one of the draws for me and it was disappointing to hear your slight disappointment in the system from your earlier video. Hoping my S gets here next month.

Model 3 version fits the new yoke reasonably well. The model S version does not fit at all
