in the Model 3P at least, when the car wasn't traction limited or cornering, even when you set handling to say 0%/100% it'll give you mostly full power, so handling balance is just that, just when it effects handling will it redistribute power. (do some 0-60 with 0%/100% and 100/0% and 50%/50% and see if they are any different)

I'd be curious to see what a three motor arrangement will do here, clearly they put two motors in the front for some torque vectoring advantages, I wonder if/how they leverage that through track mode settings.

Apparently the plaid can now go 175mph. I assume that’s for plaid’s with 19s and 21s. I didn’t see anything mentioned about it in the release notes.

Thanks for sharing this!! Only thing track mode only changes power output when the wheel is turned. If it’s straights it will give you all 3 motors. Keep the great content coming.

Its like in the P3 where it will be rear wheel biased not exactly RWD so the power will only go to the rear wheels once the wheel is turned. When straight it is back to fully AWD. That's why you can't roast the tires. I wonder if you spin the wheel all the way and do a standing burnout, will it spin the tires?

Traction control is definitely on. Those motors could easily smoke those tires.

You might find track mode gives better results on prepped drag strip so it won't try and intervene to limit wheel spin

Is top speed avalable in dragstip mode too?

Smoking up tires, so nice to compensate for your superior feelings of butterflies and love driving an EV.

No, but it comes with "won't drive for idiots like you" mode!

I don't understand what's so difficult about showing range and battery SOC at the same time that Tesla only allows you to see one at a time. You shouldn't have to choose one over the other. There shouldn't even be a setting, it should just show you both.
