Kudos to the PERFORMERS! Too often overlooked. Every note, every beat is a miracle... when you think about it. Thanks for posting this.

@zepfred77 Thanks for the comment! I mainly use headphones when listening to vinyl because my main music/HT rig is located in another room in my house. My turntable rig is setup on my enclosed back porch, which also doubles as a small recording studio. On the other side of the porch/studio, I have a PC, which I use to record the audio and import the video footage. I use a Focusrite Liquid 56 recording interface with Mackie MR5 monitors for audio playback and video editing.

Great soundstage using a FiiO amp conected to my pc and AKG folding cans. Nice.

Thanks! I use three headphone amps; Burson Audio HA-160 solid state, Musical Fidelity X-Can v3 with Amperex 'Bugle Boy' 6922 NOS tubes and a modified Bravo Audio tube headphone amp (using a single EH6922 tube). For most listening, I use the Burson HA-160. KZbin's limit of 500 characters is very constraining. If you would like to discuss audio gear, tube recommendations or vinyl records, feel free to stop by my VinylAudio forum where I can post longer responses to your questions. :)

Drooling over the equipment - yumptious sound (and I do so love this track ... from my childhood with a jazz pianist for a father, until today - this is the ultimate in uber chill & frosty) - Thanks for posting - Cheers (& claps & wild applause) from lizzy lou (AKA Liz G)

Do you have any idea what you have here? If you are tuning in any SQ Comp class and you are NOT using this exact track, you just lost. This is the most iconic audiophile track in history, and this recording is damn near flawless. From the bottom of my drivers and the back of the cabinets, thank you.

@EoLoVoX Thanks! I've been looking all over for a copy and I finally found one on Ebay for $31, still sealed, so I couldn't resist. It definitely lives up to the hype with excellent sound quality and top notch performances. :)

Thanks! I'm very partial to Zyx cartridges and in my opinion, the Zyx R100 is a much better match for a Rega turntable than the Dynavector DV-20x. I've compared the two on my Rega P25 and the Zyx comes out ahead by a wide margin. The Zyx is uncolored, transparent, detailed and refined. The bass is deeper with better control, the mids are clearer with no muddiness and the highs are clean and pure. Also, the imaging is amazing (very 3D sounding) on the Zyx. I highly recommend it. :)

forgive me, I"m Catching up with you 6 years later...this sounds better / clearer than ANYTHING ELSE, far more so than I've ever heard. I'm a jazz pianist, wow....we're talking super expensive cartridge here? is that why? .... .thanks, Mario

You've got the Pawnshop recording on vinyl! I should have expected that, but it would have been no less impressive if I did. It sounds great. I bet it sounded a heck of a lot better in your music room, though. Excellent editing, by the way. really enjoyed all the close looks at your amazing system while the music played.

Thanks. My original turntable is a Rega P25. I bought a VPI Scoutmaster in March of 2011, but I ended up selling it because it wasn't a good match with my Zyx R100H cartridge. The VPI arm preferred a heavier cartridge (8g or more); my Zyx R100H is only 4.2g. The sound was dull and lifeless with a light cartridge. The Dynavector DV-20x was a better match (9.1g), but I ended up selling the Scoutmaster and using the money to buy the Zyx Omega-G.

Fantastic amazing sound and equipments. Is it ZYX omega 0.24mv or 0.48mv? How it matches with phono ARC PH5? The PH5 is 57,5dB as I know. I’m asking due to I’m interested in PH8.

What rig are you using for the cans? I'm trying to figure what headphone amp / preamp combo you have, and possibly recommend when listening to great vinyl? Prefer tube amplification, and any bottles that you would recommend in tweaking them if necessary? Thanks, Brian BTW: Awesome setup, and breathtaking sound!
