Exactly. I'm 28 and have a diamond face shape myself. But had to the research on my own. I have never had a barber mention it to me and try to build a haircut around the shape of my face.

My grandfather was a barber in a small town in North Carolina. This is the way he always cut hair, he never used guards. It was either clippers over comb, scissors over comb, or all scissors cut. He also shaved the neck with a straight razor and shaving cream. He would finish with Lucky Tiger and a nice barbers brush with talc. I always remember him using tissue paper around the neck and an apron too. Watching Dan takes me back to some very happy memories.

Yes! My current stylist won’t give any advice - refuses to. I just have to say what I want, and that’s what I get. That’s a lot better than someone who pretends to listen and then just does what they wanted to anyway, but someone who achieves a happy medium, like Dan, is like gold dust.
