This is me… thought I’d clear up a few things… I’ve done the hair at all the different lengths including shoulder length but really fancied a short cut… I loved the cut Dan did, one thing I would say is it took a couple of days to settle properly as I’d had it tied up almost everyday for years… also on the beard… I actually left my beard for a couple of weeks leading up to the cut as I was planning on having it shaped with the transformation, but I didn’t realise before arriving that there was a tight schedule so wasn’t able to get it done at the time… I did sort it out myself when I got home, I never leave it like that normally 😅 and it really did finish off the look, made everything looks so much cleaner… incase anyone was curious I went down to stubble with just a bit more length on the tash and gave the neck a proper clean up

Dan, Stephen who’s my much older brother is 49 and he’s got long hair. It’s probably about 20 inches long. It’s very wavy hair but he’s got cystic fibrosis and he’s rather reclusive so he doesn’t get out much. He can’t mix with a lot of people because of his illness, but he’s always talking about having his hair styled, although he does want to keep it long. I need to try and get him out to see you because I think you’d enjoy sorting his hair out, and it will do him good to get out and about a little bit because he is very sociable. He’s a great talker and very outgoing, but he just doesn’t get out much. Anyway, thank you Dan for all the wonderful haircuts you do. Keeping the people of Britain tidy!

My hair was hip length for over 15 years because my husband preferred it that way. My hair is probably over twice as thick as this guy’s and wavy blonde. After many years of marriage we got divorced. The first thing I did was get my hair cut short. It was so freeing! I didn’t get it caught in the car door anymore. Or brush past a person only to be yanked backward when your hair gets caught in their button. Or accidentally tuck your hair into the back of your pantyhose and walk around with your skirt hiked up in the back. Maintaining long hair is a hobby and a chore. There are many drawbacks.

Long curly hair is lovely especially when it's thick with big, loose curls. This handsome bloke seemed to be thinning a bit in front which detracted from his style. The new cut renews his youth and makes him look even more like John Krasinski. Excellent work, Dan!

I am an 80 yo widow. My first grey hair showed up as a one inch wide stripe four months after I was married ( a foretaste of what was to come), and the second stripe when I was about 35. They looked like wings on either side at my temples. When I began to color my hair, I insisted the wings stay natural, as I had earned every one of those grey hairs, and I was very proud of them. Now I am all grey/white, and the wings have finally disappeared into the rest of my hair.
