I love how from the moment he said he hadn’t washed his hair in 2 yrs you didn’t judge but kept subtly telling him to shampoo his hair - it’s unique texture! The fact that he does ‘wash’ it several times a day & scrubs his scalp mean he gets that he needs to keep it some kinda way but when you talked about the build up & using salt water to detox it… he really needs a good shampoo. He should take the time to find something hypoallergenic.

Watching Dan at work always makes me smile. Dan is a master. As if he has already perceived the end result while they're talking. Spot on. The shorter cut is shapely and proportionate, I like the lift, the texture and the baby mullet but, most of all, it enhances the client's sculptural face. A beautiful job like doing magic with his scissors.

This guy obviously has OCD. If you are so obsessed with your "curls" that you refuse to wash your hair, yet water-wash your hair three times a day.... that is not normal! And it isn't going to make the curls look more fluffy and attractive! His hair looked stringy and greasy, like he had heavy product in his hair. As usual, Dan handled the situation with maturity and compassion.

He literally smelled his hair in the video 😂, and said it doesn't smell... I think it really depends on how much oily your scalp gets, I tried it for a while, but didn't like the feel. But it didn't really smell either, as long as you wash it well with water, scrub with your fingers and brush and do that often, I'd do that every day, every shower basically. But I still prefer shampoo and conditioner, because them your hair soaks up the perfume and the texture is just different, sort of more soft. But I think you can definitely go without shampoo 😌

You should try a 3, something in between. 2 shows a lot of scalp, I give my son a 3-4 with a taper. Always super clean 👌

I prefer the long style, maybe just a bit shorter, because I love crazy curls! But the final style has lower maintenance and he will feel free for a while ;) He is handsome anyways with both! I think he will be better totally shaved, because he looks like a Roman statue or with a more mousquetaire moustach.
